Fab Hotel

The room was lovely, well equipped very clean and the outside area was great in the evening. Staff were warm and welcoming and helpful. The location was great a short walk to shops etc and the beach was at the end of the road. Parking was a breeze outside the hotel.

Small, charming hotel with comfortable room in a good location

Comfortable and very clean room with pleasant outside terrace area.

Breakfast items; little choice available and quality questionable. Cheese, salami, bread, boiled eggs, apple juice had been available but almost all gone with 30 minutes of breakfast time still remaining. Unfortunately, breakfast did not represent value for money.

Perfect hotel in a perfect location

Ty Gwenn is super well located and the building so typical makes it very special. The room was sparkling clean and we had a warm welcome from the owner who showed us the room, gave us a map of the area with some recommendations. The breakfast is also amazing with fresh fruits, homemade cakes, eggs etc

Superb

Nice quiet suburb yet only 300m from a beautiful beach and 1.5km walk from Centre. Breakfast had everything and more we required with exceptional Ty Gwenn home made jams. Relaxed family atmosphere would definitely return.

A really lovely experience.

The breakfast was a wide selection of homemade products..typically popular in France. They were served in a lovely breakfast room with a hand painted frieze showing lovely places of interest. Our room was upgraded free for the occasion of our wedding anniversary..a lovely touch! It was an immaculate bedroom and clean, modern en-suite. The hotel was staffed by the owners who were very friendly and obliging. Parking was street side and safe and plentiful. It was a 5 minute walk from the promenade and beach and to a street of shops, restaurants and a bar behind the hotel.

It would have been nice to have had a kettle in the bedroom with sachets of tea or coffee. There was a minibar so some milk could have been kept fresh. The hotel was a good 15 minute drive out of the centre of la Baule..which is fine if it is known about but it could be stated.

Fantastic in every way!

This place is absolutely fantastic! The room was lovely. HUGE bed! The staff - a husband & wife team - were super friendly - providing tips for the area, maps and suggestions for restaurants etc. The location is fantastic - just around the corner from one of the main shopping streets in La Baule, and mere minutes from the beach. Free parking everywhere. Great wifi. The breakfast was fantastic - homemade jams, breads and just plenty of everything. We felt totally at home and would have been happy to spend our entire holiday there.

Ty Gwenn is run by and professional and hardworking family who receive you with a warm welcome and go out of their way to make you have a pleasant stay. We arrived and did not expect so much excellence, from the comfortable and clean room, delicious home-made breakfast, to very adequate COVID19-measures, and the kindness of Michael and Sandrine in helping you with every question or doubt you may have. We booked an extra night!

Llegando agotados tras un largo viaje nos vimos obligados a regresar a España por encontrarse el hotel cerrado y nadie disponble en el teléfono. Es la primera vez que llego a un hotel y está cerrado a cal y canto con todas las luces apagadas y nadie disponible ni en el lugar ni al teléfono para dar acceso.

Hôtel très bien situé à La Baule , proche de la plage. La chambre est au calme et donne sur un petit patio Etablissement typique des maisons Bauloises donc plein de charme ! Propriétaires sympathiques , très disponibles et à l'écoute. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Je recommande vivement cet établissement pour un séjour reposant .

Hotel très bien tenu, propre et décoré de façon agréable. Literie satisfaisante. Petit déjeuner suffisant bien que nous soyons les seuls occupants

Pas d'eau chaude le soir malgré une longue attente (nous étions seuls,, on nous dit qu'il aurait fallu attendre encore plus...). Nous avions demandé des éléments de petit déjeuner sans gluten pour mon épouse, mais cela n'avait pas été intégré.

Que l hôtel soit fermé jusqu’à 16h et pas de possibilités de laisser sa valise à l arrivée et au départ lorsque les horaires du train ne correspondent pas. L hôtel étant fermé entre 12h et 16h… Bien dommage. Petit déjeuner pas extraordinaire. Pas d œufs…. Réponse ils ont du mal à en trouver en ce moment …

Un séjour agréable

Les chambres sont décourées avec goût et nous avons été très bien accueillis très bien en accueilli. Les propriétaires sont de très bons conseils il est toujours disponible et accueillant.
