A great hotel location, a little dated, very friendly staff who went above and beyond everyday

The spa is nice, the resturant was great, but a lack of options for endurance based summer sports. the chef did a great favour to help make some nutritious energy food off the menu which was really above and beyond!

Lovely hotel, worth paying for mountain view

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Getting a balcony room with mountain view (4th floor seem best) is definitely worth it.

Odd things weren’t up to spec: no extra towels for the spa and no bread at breakfast (!) although it was the last day of the summer season.

Relaxing mountain getaway

Fantastic location, spa on site and included in the room price, excellent breakfast. The staff were excellent and very helpful.

Rooms were a bit small, so I’d recommend other guests to book the deluxe room with a balcony.

I enjoyed the view, the staff and the food. I recommend the hotel to others.

Breakfast is superb. Fresh juices, nice bread and pastries, fruit, egg and bacon. The location is ideal, and the balconies have great mountain and ski lift views.

As the Alpine summers get warmer, some air conditioning would help.

Good quality hotel in good location.

Restaurant was lovely, food was also of good standard. Breakfast in particular was excellent.

Upon entering the bar, and taking a seat, I noticed I was the only person in at the time, however the staff simply ignored me. Such a shame they are not more attentive, drinks are not cheap but I would certainly have purchased more if only I had been asked.

Disappointed stay

Breakfast was good.

Very noisy till late at night. Little swimming pool for too much people. Only 3 parasols around the swimming pool. Too hot in the room. Impossible to open the window because of the noise on the street. Pictures on booking do not correspond with reality. We expected a quiet stay in the mountains but instead of an overcrowded swimming pool next to a really noisy street.

Slaapkamer, superior?, niet op het niveau dat men mag verwachten van een 4 sterrenhotel. Badkamer beetje krap, geen apart toilet! Te weinig opbergcapaciteit voor een koppel op skiverlof voor 7 dagen! Standaard 2-persoonskamer, ronduit onder de maat. Slechte matras bovendien. Gelukkig maar bezet door 1 persoon. Verwarming in het restaurant was ontoereikend, het was er erg koud, zowel tijdens de ochtend als de avond. Achterstallig onderhoud aan de ramen en in de gangen.

Lors de notre premier séjour, pas de miroir grossissant dans la salle de bain et accessoires à même le sol . Personnel gentil mais manque de professionnalisme. ; Nous avons diné dans les deux restaurants. Les planches absence de menu , la serveuse nous amène de l'eau pétillante sans le bouchon. A l'annexe également trop peu de choix. J ai oublié mon pyjama que l'on devait me renvoyer . Je n'ai toujours rien reçu ! Pourtant quand je suis revenue la semaine d'après à la réception on m'a dit que le colis était parti sans aller vérifier !

Coccolarsi nella valle di Serre-Chevalier

Albergo in ottima posizione sia rispetto ai locali del paesino (Chantemerle) sia rispetto agli impianti sciistici (cabinovia e seggiovia sono distanti meno di 100 metri dall'hotel); inoltre è molto comodo il servizio Ski room, in cui depositare la propria attrezzatura. La SPA è un plus importante per godere di un po' di relax, purché sia inclusa nel proprio soggiorno. Colazione variegata e abbondante.

La camera era situata all'esterno della struttura centrale, per cui un po' scomoda per raggiungere sala ristoro o reception. La sala della colazione è davvero fredda, anche se ben illuminata grazie alle ampie vetrate. Un'atmosfera un po' più calda e (soprattutto) riscaldata non guasterebbe. Migliorerei la colazione con la possibilità di servire il cappuccino al tavolo, al posto di prepararlo al distributore.
