Excellent breakfast with quality food. Nice bed and bathroom. Good decoration. Staff was kind and very polite.

The staff were excellent. They made welcome and were always ready to help. The food was exquisite too - excellent chef and team.
Not much, it was all beautifully maintained and clean. An outdoor area with a view would be an improvement but that’s me just being fussy.

Great location. Ski out (once you walk across the car park) but it is a very tricky run back in. Definitely not suitable for beginners which means taking the gondola down then walking back up the hill to the hotel.
No outdoor terrace/bar area. We booked a room with a balcony. We thought this would be overlooking the slopes but it actually overlooked the car park.

Comfortable bed, good location for skiing (though not strictly ski in, ski out) and nice breakfast. Bar small but relaxed.
We were staying only one night which may explain the rather distant attitude of the receptionist but we were actually considering the hotel for a one week stay for a group of family and friends next year ...
We were informed that the dining room was fully booked for dinner (no advice that reservation was needed on booking) and were only offered suggestions for alternatives when we asked - both nearly a kilometre away on a cold snowy night. We had packed our bag expecting to be dining in so had to go to dinner in our salopettes. So the location is good for skiing but not for accessing other facilities.
The charge of 15 euros to park our car was unexpected though i do concede that on the third mention on the booking.com page this is referred to - you need to dig deep!
Our room was very very small with less than a foot space around the side of the bed. The radiator in the room was virtually inaccessbile under a narrow desk below the TV. And i heard the receptionist advise a guest that this classic room with balcony was actually a bit bigger that the classic without.
The bathroom was also very small - sitting on the loo my knees nearly touched the bath edge (and i'm only 163cm) - tall people will struggle, I'd been looking forward to a bath after a week of only showers but that was not to be as the stopper in the bath was not watertight and after a while i realised that the bath would never fill! They did offer to send someone to deal with it but as we had to wash and dry hair before venturing out into the cold for find some dinner we declined and showered.
Wifi in the room was very slow.
Overall not what we expect for a 4* and for the price we paid. Needless to say, we won't be returning!
