Disappointing for 4* despite comfortable bed

Comfortable bed, good location for skiing (though not strictly ski in, ski out) and nice breakfast. Bar small but relaxed.

We were staying only one night which may explain the rather distant attitude of the receptionist but we were actually considering the hotel for a one week stay for a group of family and friends next year ... We were informed that the dining room was fully booked for dinner (no advice that reservation was needed on booking) and were only offered suggestions for alternatives when we asked - both nearly a kilometre away on a cold snowy night. We had packed our bag expecting to be dining in so had to go to dinner in our salopettes. So the location is good for skiing but not for accessing other facilities. The charge of 15 euros to park our car was unexpected though i do concede that on the third mention on the booking.com page this is referred to - you need to dig deep! Our room was very very small with less than a foot space around the side of the bed. The radiator in the room was virtually inaccessbile under a narrow desk below the TV. And i heard the receptionist advise a guest that this classic room with balcony was actually a bit bigger that the classic without. The bathroom was also very small - sitting on the loo my knees nearly touched the bath edge (and i'm only 163cm) - tall people will struggle, I'd been looking forward to a bath after a week of only showers but that was not to be as the stopper in the bath was not watertight and after a while i realised that the bath would never fill! They did offer to send someone to deal with it but as we had to wash and dry hair before venturing out into the cold for find some dinner we declined and showered. Wifi in the room was very slow. Overall not what we expect for a 4* and for the price we paid. Needless to say, we won't be returning!

Nice choice in this price range

Nice accommocation with friendly staff and good facilities. Breakfast was very comprehensive and dinner option are absolutely fine. Room and bathroom both well up to standards in this price range.

Very comfortable, but you have to pay hidden costs.

The hotel is super smart, modern but still chic and feels very clean. The location is very convenient for the ski lift and shops if one needs something. Staff are helpful.

I thought the breakfast selection was rather limited as I have been spoilt in other hotels of a same star rating. What was my major annoyance was I chose the hotel as they advertised a sauna and whirlpool, but found out it is an extra cost! Also, parking is advertised, but that is an extra cost! It all adds up of course.

It's ok, could try harder to be special

The room was nice but no blind on one window so , that very light in the morning and in my view, was an oversight. The staff were all very helpful and the hotel is in a beautiful spot. I would say that it's quite nice, the hotel looks good, the bar area is nicely presented but it's actually quite average overall. It's ok but nothing to write home about

Food, the restaurant staff were really nice but the actual food was very average border line.... maybe ordering a pizza for delivery would have been better. I was staying for just one night as I had arrived for my ski apartment in Serre Che early. I think I would have been disappointed had I been staying longer, it's end of the season but I would say it could have been much better.

Excellent hotel and resort, thoroughly enjoyed the visit

Breakfast was good, location was close to town centre. A nice touch was ski rental - the shop delivered and collected the skis, big time saver.

Evening menu at the restaurant was limited, we only ever had breakfast there.

excellent ski in/ski out hotel with superb staff

The hotel was very comfortable, although the room was quite small. The best thing about the hotel apart from the ski in ski out location were the staff who were superb, always very friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The restaurant was very good qualilty too.

The main downside to the hotel is that it describes itself as a spa hotel, but the spa had limited availability, had to be booked in advance and was privately run so you had to pay extra to use it - €15 pp! So after a day's skiing, if you could get a time that suited, you would have to pay €60 a time for a family of 4 to use the jacuzzi and sauna for 45 minutes. Although this is stated on the website, it is not very obvious and we only realised just before coming, so had to try to find avaialble slots, when we did not even know what time we would be skiing to each day. Although not all hotels have this facility, for a 4* hotel advertised as a spa hotel I would expect there to be a sauna which could be used without having to pay extra and to have more availability. It is for this reason it would not get top marks, even though most other things were excellent

Nice hotel where I would stay again because of very nice rooms and atmosphere, and superb breakfast.

Very nice hotel, comfortable beds, nice availability of amenities and good coffee and tea in the room. The breakfast was superb! Great with having free chargers for electric cars on the hotel parking.

The room was very warm at night and no airco, but we left our terrace door open which helped a bit. It should be more strict from the hotel that people move their car from the charger when fully charged. Paying 10 eur for parking also seems a little too much when there is not much around except more hotels and a couple of restaurants. The restaurant for dinner was also mediocre.

Nice and hotel, but we couldn't enjoy the spa...

Comfy room (rather small) and a great shower. The stuff is friendly. The breakfest was nice but almost without vegtables.

Although I had reservations for the spa before hand, it wan't reserved for us and we couldn't use it unless giving up on skiing..., this was very disappointing. Also, you have to buy some strange french tights swimsuit in order to use hotel or any spa in the village - "that is the law" as we were told, it is extremly strange but probably not hotel's fault.

Lovely to stay but probably wouldn't stay again, more due to area than hotel

Breakfast was great and so was room. Lounge area downstairs was lovely too

Spa was not really a spa, it is also an extra, we paid 10 euro per person for an hour for use of jacuzzi and sauna... only one cubicle to shower ( note over toilet) after sauna and it smelt awful.

Repas et petit déjeuner corrects

Je regrette plusieurs points lors de notre séjour. Tout d’abord, le fait que l’accès au spa soit en supplément, ce qui est décevant pour un établissement de cette catégorie. De plus, l’impossibilité de réserver une place de parking a compliqué notre arrivée. Nous avons également constaté un manque de petites attentions qui, selon moi, font la différence dans un hôtel 4 étoiles : absence de chaussons en chambre, absence d’amuse-bouche lors de la prise de l’apéritif, bouteille d'eau Christaline en plastique dans les chambres, pas de mots ni de sucreries ou chocolat pour souhaiter la bienvenue dans notre chambre. Par ailleurs, nous n’avons pas été informés au moment de la réservation que le dîner du samedi soir se déroulait en musique. Cette information aurait été importante pour nous. Enfin, nous avons été surpris par le manque de flexibilité concernant le décalage de notre réservation au restaurant de seulement 15 minutes. J’ai également dû insister pour obtenir une autre table, la nôtre étant située juste à côté du musicien, ce qui rendait l’expérience moins agréable.
