Fab apartment, very well appointed
Slow to clean pool after poor weather (filled with leaves). Noisy weekend (car rally on hill side) not explained on arrival

Beautiful setting and location, wonderful gardens and animals. Very nice apartments, very clean and spacious. Great terrace with city and sea/river views, nice pool, friendly and helpful staff.
Location is ca 15-20 min walk to city center (or a short drive).
Unfortunately, our apartment was right next to the voliere with the peacocks and chickens. We did not get any sleep, because peacocks are really loud and noisy birds and they kept going all night. Not sure whether this is normal or due to mating rituals, no idea. But impossible to sleep, even with closed windows.
The mattress was way too soft, we are both lightweight but kept sliding down into the middle.
I really wanted to rate this accommodation more highly, but if I can't sleep, it's no use unfortunately.
Probably apartments 1 and 2 don't have these issues since they are further away from the peacocks.
