Quinta de Valverde

Property is very private and quiet area Good size rooms Kitchen okay Bathroom okay No noise. Excellent pool. Location brilliant but need good legs

Tv to small. Would be good to have a smart tv especially when the weather is bad . Unsure 🫤 why they had a dvd player . No water supply when you got there .

We stayed at a beautiful house, which was very tastefully decorated. Sheets, bedding, towels, everything was of highest quality.

The description said that there is a view of the ocean but beautiful old trees covered the view. No biggy but we were a tiny bit disappointed.

The gardens and the swimming pool

Ajointing door in tha apartment , as alot of noise could be heard between the two apartments ! Not been told about the 48hr techo rave , not stop music playing , no a/c so uncomfotable sleeping ‘

Beautiful setting and location, wonderful gardens and animals. Very nice apartments, very clean and spacious. Great terrace with city and sea/river views, nice pool, friendly and helpful staff. Location is ca 15-20 min walk to city center (or a short drive).

Unfortunately, our apartment was right next to the voliere with the peacocks and chickens. We did not get any sleep, because peacocks are really loud and noisy birds and they kept going all night. Not sure whether this is normal or due to mating rituals, no idea. But impossible to sleep, even with closed windows. The mattress was way too soft, we are both lightweight but kept sliding down into the middle. I really wanted to rate this accommodation more highly, but if I can't sleep, it's no use unfortunately. Probably apartments 1 and 2 don't have these issues since they are further away from the peacocks.
