The property was not cleaned to a high standard, the heating has no controls within the property, can only be activated through the app controlled by staff, instructions stated it is on for set times, this is not the case, only when our office called to request heating looked at did it get switched on, the day after our check in ! after confirming the booking we received a email to say TV was damaged by previous guest & would be replaced the next day, this wasn’t ideal but we accepted, only after chasing the tv was replaced on day 3 of our 4 day stay. The oven was also out of order & not mentioned, only noticed after the team tried to cook there evening meal, handy man attended & stated it would not get fixed during the stay. Wasted food allowance & had to provide meals outside of the property. This was all related back to the host who has not responded when asked for the complaints policy & how they intend to rectify our teams

Genuinely the only good thing here was the free parking.

The building is some sort of converted office block, which comes with all sorts of problems, from heavy mold to weed smell everywhere!! Particularly the window sills are all wooden with heavy black mold, the apartment upon entering stinks of mold. The kitchen and bathroom are stocked absolutely minimally, one toilet roll for a 5 person flat for three days. The kitchen oven is absolutely filthy and covered over with tin foil. The heating is on a timer and they have the audacity to mention by email that you will be charged if you use more than £3.28 per day worth of electricity!!!! They have electric heaters throughout and an electric cooker, considering we paid £70 per person it's absolute day light robbery to even suggest passing this onto the us!! Be warned I should have read the reviews of others before booking!!

Disgusting level of cleanliness, avoid.

Nothing. Had been lived in for weeks and filthy.

Everything. Sending cleaners in at 6pm after our arrival when we had been up working since 5 am and having to wait for messages to be read with our complaints is not acceptable. Refused refund despite initially agreeing that the place is falling to pieces and sub standard.

Painful, smelly, dirty in places, poor maintenance that I cannot recommend to my enemies!

Location was on a building site / office block. Not a hotel, so beware all who consider for the price. Parking was not possible most of the time. (Don't let their pics on Bookiing.com fool you, just take a look at the remote control pics i've posted). Kitchen / Diner was, at first look clean ,but danger of cut feet in the bathroom due to broken and non level floor tiles in the bathroom.

Everything, filthy remote control, TV that wouldn't work, food bags in the hall, cracked bathroom tiles not seated properly so potentially cut feet. It's a HMO (in an office block) filled with what seems like boat people / immigrants as no one really spoke English. Hallways were dirty with what looks like dirt patches on the 'carpet'. Suggest you pay a little extra and get something miles better than an office block masquerading as a Hotel. Hallways were also filthy, with rubbish bags left outside other apartments, and others having door mats showing they are using it as an HMO.

Overpriced apartment, hassly stay.

Kitchen and bathroom modern, sitting area comfortable and table and chairs to eat at . Reasonably well equipped kitchen .

1 - very miserable 'welcome pack' consisting of one loose tea bag, not even in a packet or covered, one sachet of milk and 3 sachets of coffee . We had booked for 3 people . 2 - no plug in bathroom sink, bathroom could have been cleaner, and shower head fixed at a height by duct tape . 3 - bedroom furniture cheap MDF and difficulty opening and closing drawers as not properly constructed . Headboards not on bed correctly, black marks/ scrapes on walls of bedroom 4- cups dirty, and incomplete sets/ numbers of various things ... such as glasses . 5-WiFi code given was incorrect so first 24 hrs with no WiFi 6- check in and out times are ridiculously restrictive ( expected to check out by 8 am) 7- multiple emails re booking - including an email about restriction of electricity/ price cap per day ... have never received as much communication about a property in my life through booking. Com 8- communal areas not clean, carpets dirty .

My wife described it as a student letting... at best!

Very handy location for outlet shopping and STEAM. Parkng was OK.

The property simply wasn't clean. The corridors had litter and dirt. The rooms were not dusted completely (eg. dirt on top plug sockets etc) and had cobwebs on the ceiling. Had condensation in the windows. The fans were filthy and one did not work. The corridors had exposed cables, the entry door to the building had wood where the glass had been broken. The cutlery and glasses were not washed very well... we had to clean them before use.

Very minor that his flat is in a residential block, made absolutely no difference to our break at all. Just felt a bit odd at times when people where at work and we were in holiday

Very comfortable stay

The property is beautiful and clean. Very quiet location, very comfortable to stay and well equiped. You can cook simple foods you like. Tha bathroom is nice and cozy with free shower bath.

Spacious clean apartment with contemporary furniture and fully equipped kitchen.

Some of the permanent residents had a party until the early morning hours with really loud music and shouting I could not sleep at all.

The apartment was clean, tidy, comfortable and well maintained. Good communication in the lead up to our stay and the location was close to Swindon town centre. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay!

Unfortunately the lift was out of order however we appreciated that this was just one of those things and couldn’t be helped!

Nice apartment appalling customer care.

The apartment was clean and tidy.

Apartmen itself was fine. We however had a disabled 77 year old lady with us who is unable to manage stairs and suffers from dementia. Despite being allocated a 2nd floor apt near to the lift to diminish the noise impact and checking on the day before travel that the lifts were operational. They weren't. Well 1 was but should hav been taken off due to people being stuck in it on the Thursday and it should hav been taken out of service as it was suffering faults. The other lift has been out of commission for a long time according to a resident. We were going to a wedding on the Sunday and discovered an hour before we were due to leave that we could not use the lift and we ended up having to carry my 77 year old mother down 4 flights of stairs dressed in wedding attire. Having raised the issue with Hamilton Grace we hav been offered £20 refund of the late checkout charge. They hav advised us it is not their fault the lift was broken and to take it up with a complaint to booking. Com. I strongly urge you not to book these apartments these people have no care nor consideration for their guests when something has gone wrong. The term Heartless springs to mind. I will be taking this up with booking.com in the hope they care.

2 night stay at the Hamilton Grace

Plenty of space in the apartment, we liked the bathroom and shower. Plenty of towels. Comfortable bedrooms. Cosy. Living Room with fridge freezer and all the utensils. Clean

Couches were not very comfortable even for a short period of time. One of the mattress on the double bed felt like the springs had gone. I slept on the spare bed. Didn't see any pictures of the outside of the apartment to help find the location at night time.

The amazing customer service from Jon and the location near the park and the supermarket.

The cleaning on arrival was not hotel standard. Although the issues were promptly dealt with, it would have been better to arrive in a spotless place, especially with Covid still around.

Les points négatifs : - L'entretien reste superficiel dans les coins de l'appartement. - Pas de produits pour l'entretien à disposition. (Venant de l'étranger, il est compliqué de tout emmener.) - Pas de Wi-Fi du 7 au 10 mars 2025. - Pas de chauffage du 7 au 12 mars 2025. - L'immeuble et l'ascenseur sont mal entretenus et sales. - L'extérieur du bâtiment n'est pas agréable. - Vue sur un parking rempli de poubelles débordantes. - Nous avons eu froid toutes les nuits, pas cool avec un bébé. - Un chauffage d'appoint soufflant de salle de bain a été mis à disposition le 10 pour tout l'appartement. j'ai laisser l'appartement comme il ce dois. - Trop de mail avec des KM d'instruction.... Déçu car, nous aurions apprécié un geste de la part des propriétaires. pour le désagrément et le manque de chauffage. car nous avons du faire en sorte de rester le moins possible dans l'appartement.
