Swim, bike or stroll along the Ke Ala Hele Makalae Bike Path right in front of this newly remodeled oceanfront condo. Spectacular ocean and sunrise views from your private lanai just steps to the beach on Kauai's Coconut Coast! Remodel includes new flooring throughout, new bathrooms and granite counters.

The primary bedroom suite has a king size bed and the 2nd bedroom is furnished with a queen bed.
Queen sofa sleeper in the living room. Pack n Play Crib available upon request. Unit sleeps up to 6 guests.

Beachfront on the east shore of Kauai, Pono Kai Resort is a centrally located Kauai vacation rental with easy access to the North or South shores of Kauai. Approximately 8 miles from the Lihue Airport, Pono Kai Resort is located in the town of historic Kapa'a. Situated on 13 tropical acres.

This Kauai oceanfront condo is within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, boutiques and banks. Swim right on the beach front of Pono Kai Resort or lounge pool side and enjoy the outdoor spa and sauna. Barbecue stations are located throughout the property along w/laundry facilities in each building.
Rent a bicycle and "cruise" along the coastal bike path. Ping pong, shuffleboard and even a croquet court are available at Pono Kai Resort making this an ideal Kauai vacation rental for you and your family.

The Pono Kai Resorts east side location makes it easy to get to Kilauea Lighthouse, Hanalei Bay and Haena State Beach Park to the north or Poipu Beach to the south. Nearby attractions in Kapaa include Kealia Beach, Lydgate State Beach Park for snorkeling, Kamalani Playground with a "volcano tube", Sleeping Giant Hiking Trail, Wailua Falls, Opaeka'a Falls and the Fern Grotto boat ride are just a sample of what's available on Kauai's eastern shores.

Beachfront at an affordable price makes this Kauai condo a fantastic value. Humpback whales breaching can be seen from your private lanai during the months of November through April or walk along the shores early morning and you may be the first to discover a glass ball and other beach treasures.

I have so many good things to say about this unit, I hardly know where to start! It was spotlessly clean. Beds have toppers making them very comfortable. The unit is exceedingly well-equipped from the kitchen (with every appliance, utensil, and dishware item) to extra pillows, towels, beach chairs, sports equipment, etc. Everything you could need. It’s also quite roomy with large bathrooms and closets. The location is fantastic as Kapaa is central for trips to both the north and south sides of the island. And the unit itself is situated with direct ocean views and a few steps from a sandy beach. The only thing I wish they had was an in-unit washer and dryer, but the laundry is just a few steps away and we never had to wait to use it. Plus, the price point for all you get makes up for that. We had a great time here!!

I stayed in Pono Kai B101 with my husband and 2 adult children. The condo itself is 5 stars, but stars knocked off for the noise level. POSITIVES: It is one of the most well supplied places we’ve ever stayed at with many beach accessories, chairs, umbrellas, towels, bathroom toiletries and extremely well stocked kitchen. There’s both a Keurig with provided coffee pods and a coffee maker. The place is spotlessly clean. The sliding door opens to a tabled patio and grassy area which ends at a bike/walking path where we enjoyed watching sunrises. We were very comfortable with A/C units in the living area and each bedroom. We had fun during the koi feeding at the ground’s pond. The grounds keeper would fish for tilapia in the pond to feed the resident heron bird. The location is an easy walk in to town, where there are eateries and bakeries (Wailua Bakery & Haole Girl are terrific!) Poke from Pono Market is the best! Safeway is conveniently close. NEGATIVE (unfortunately): the insulation between the upper floor and lower unit’s ceiling is poor. You can hear every single footstep from the tenant in the upper condo. It was loud and there was only a single occupant! Good thing there weren't multiple people staying. You can also hear the upper unit’s toilet flush, it sounded like water gushing down the walls in the master bedroom. At first we were super annoyed but at some point we just started laughing about it and let it not ruin our stay.
