B&B Domus Piazza del Popolo

Location was fine. This building is 500 years old so some rooms are quite small like the bathroom. Mini mart across the street so bottled water, yogurt and snacks can be had. Restaurant on the ground floor is great and a discount can be had for staying at the B&B. The apartment is on the 3ed floor as we Americans call the ground floor the first floor. But in Italy the 2ed floor is the first floor. The rooms are on the 3ed floor. the elevator is small but is modern and works fine. If you get the King bed with a single it is 2 rooms, a long hallway and a shower/bathroom. If the air-conditioning is not repaired in the King room just turn on the air in the single bed room and leave the doors open. Bfast is pastries, cereals, fruit, and good coffee via a nespresso capsule coffee maker. As you leave the building if you go right the next street is closed to traffic so a nice walk can be had.. You are not far from the Vatican. We communicated via whatsapp. We also booked transportation from the airport to the B&B (70 euros was a bargain) the owner did the arranging. Again WhatsApp worked well. The driver waited for us. Customs can be slow when multiple planes arrive. You will be shocked by taxi prices. It is cheap to go to The vatican by taxi but they have a kind of zone based system and each historical place you drive by jacks up the price.

The air conditioner in the king bedroom needs to be serviced might be out of freon.

Simon is very knowledgeable and great help. Location is great. Walkable to distance to Spanish steps etc

Spacious bedroom well located in the city. We could go sightseeing walking because most spots were really close to the hotel. Nice view from the room. ATMs close to the hotel.

The bathroom was really tight. Breakfast was disappointing.
