Soca Garden Guest house

It had such a homely feel. The rooms were extremely spacious. The bed was massive and it was the comfiest bed and pillows I’ve had in all my stays in Bali. The staff were beyond incredible. They were so helpful and delivered my breakfast to me every morning on my balcony. My bed sheets were changed without asking. There is a lovely coffee shop just around the corner that does amazing coffee. Incredible service and excellent value for money. 10/10 all around.

I had such a wonderful time staying at Soca Garden Guest House. Rooms are spacious and clean, the courtyard is beautiful and the owners are the sweetest people! Very helpful and breakfast was delicious. Location is also great as it is a 15 minute walk from popular yoga studios but in a peaceful spot.

A bit far in a hidden gem but quite calm and nice

This guest house was an exceedingly lovely place to stay. The room was beautifully furnished, the shower had plenty of hot water, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was nice (with different options), the air conditioning worked well, and the daily tidying while I was out was a much-appreciated extra touch. By far, though, the best thing about my stay was the host and his family, who were so kind and helpful. I enlisted the host as a driver for a day and we created a bespoke tour where we saw two amazing waterfalls, a beautiful area of rice fields largely untouched by tourism, and two temples. I also did my laundry at the guest house, at a very reasonable price. It made me want to return to Ubud just to stay here again.

I wish I was able to spend more time here.
