Angus, the host was great! Very personable, attentive, and down to earth! It was one of the highlights of our trip to be able to talk to him about Scotland and his travels. We loved the vegan breakfast he made specially for us. We both felt like staying at this B&B was a unique experience that added value to our trip and was better than staying in a hotel!

The location was perfect for us as it was easy to reach right off a main road, near some hikes we were interested in doing and close enough to Portree to go into town quite easily for a few hours. We also found all the decorations were really interesting and they added a lot of character to the property.

The Lighthouse Cottage has a beautiful view and is situated on a main road that was easy to get to. There’s plenty of room to park and a place to sit outside to enjoy the view

The room was spacious and bright, very comfortable with a lovely view. Sunset over the Isles.
No breakfast room or common room. Breakfast is served on a tray in the bedrooms. The road outside is very fast and busy making walking even a short distance unsafe.
