A beautiful apartment to stay in a magical place.

The apt is perfectly located in town with a beautiful view from the balcony. It's nice to watch the boats come and go and there are a number of nearby restaurants. It is also a great location to explore the national park, which is wonderful. It is not a long walk to the small lake in the park, or you can rent bikes to explore farther. If you are staying in town, your park ticket can cover more than one day for the same price. The hosts were very kind and allowed us to check in early when the ferry arrived and also offered a luggage storage space to use after check out.

Pomena only has one small grocery store, you might want to buy supplies before you arrive, if you need things.

Beautiful view and nice stay

Very well situated on an amazing island, close to harbour, beautiful view - and we the flat was nice. We loved how well it was situated, could not beat that.

The flat was nice and the view really beautiful. Some of the furnishings and equipment were a bit old and slightly worn, but overall it was still comfortable and we had what we needed. The main issue was the lack of sound and smell insulation — we could hear noise from other flats and notice cigarette smells in room from below. For us it was no issue but the local shop was closed, the owner was very kind to warn us of that.

Very comfortable stay in a great location.

Lovely location; walk everywhere; very clean and comfortable. Lovely owner who was helpful. Came with coffee and a filter coffee maker. Air-conditioning was welcome! Nice little balcony overlooking the harbour - pretty at night.

It was quite warm even in mid-Sept, as it faces into the afternoon sun. (But so do all the properties on that side of the little bay).

Nice and welcoming host. Was waiting for us on arrival. Great location, 4 minutes walk from The ferry and walking distance to the National park. Very comfortable apartment. We enjoyed the stay very much. We would come back

The room was perfect and the host very friendly and accommodating. Very comfortable bed, close to town yet quiet, and a beautiful view. I'd return in a heartbeat.

Spacious apartment with a kitchenette that had everything you needed. Lovely balcony with gorgeous views (we had room 1) Very short walk to entrance of national park. Little supermarket close by, nice restaurants reasonably priced. Host gave good information on check in. Places to swim in harbour.

Apartments Lorena was the perfect place to stay to explore Mljet. It was close to the port, the National Park entrance and some amazing restaurants. The place was lovely, and we were able to check in early, which we really appreciated. Thank you!

In a perfect location within Pomena Mljet. The hosts were awesome and even organized my wife a hair wash on the next island, service was awesome. Had great views over the town, would recommend staying there

Great stay to explore Mljet NP

Great location close to the ferry stop and entrance to the national park. The owner was very helpful. He helped us organize a ride from Polace to the apartment and let us leave bags there after checkout so we could continue to explore until our outbound ferry.

Beautiful views, friendly owner, great value

We had a fantastic stay at Apartments Lorena. Gorgeous views from the windows out to the water which was so lovely to wake up to each morning. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We had a great stay :)

The flatscreen door to one of the balconies was broken so we didn’t get to use that area. But we were able to sit on the other balcony area. Very minor! Overall great experience and would stay again

Comfortable and Excellent Location w/ Great Hosts

Location: Google Maps is not your friend on this one. Both the TP and Krillo ferries come to this small fishing village & Apartment Lorena Miljet is a short 200 meters away. The village follows the U shape of the ocean and the ferries dock at one end, start walking toward the middle of U and look up - there is a big banner on the balcony so you cannot miss it. Do not take long road that Google Maps gives, walk along the shoreline. Host: Let Pavo know when you are coming and he will greet you w/ a smile and show you around the apartment. Use WhatsAp and the hours are 9-14:00 (4pm). Apartment: I had #3 and it was very nice. Terrace overlooking the Adriatic sea, refrigerator with a freezer (icetray!), oven, 2 burner stovetop, toaster, coffee pot w/ coffee, kettle, oil, vinegar, etc. AC is in the living area, but kept the bedroom cool enough. There are even mosquito screens on windows & the patio door, Pavo & his wife did a really nice job, especially considering this is a small island where everything had to be imported. There is a card operated laundromat in town (10 euro a load) & you can dry clothes on your terrace. There were outlets everywhere, including by the bed, not sure why some reviews say otherwise. All rooms have a terrace and a view, it is obvious Pavo & his wife put a lot of thought into making a homy place to stay and the bed was SUPER COMFORTABLE. The wifi did timeout a few times before connecting in the living room, but worked like a champ in the bedroom. So what? I was not there to play games on my computer all day. Pomena: Basically a 2 block village with plenty of restaurants (only a few take cards), bike/kayak rentals, etc. In May the grocery store was not open for the summer season but there are other grocery stores on the island, I suggest bringing what you need. The local bus only runs once a day and leaves Pomena at 4:45am but Pavo is a taxi driver. The park entrance is less than 5 minutes away.

Delightful stay in a peaceful & serene environment.

My Host Pavo was delightful. I arrived without food, local supermarket only open in Summer so Pavo drove me into Polace to the supermarket there. He came bearing a homemade dessert soon after arrival. Room very comfortable and lots of windows.

No Wifi coverage unfortunately anywhere on property. Lucky I had an eSIM.

Lovely little apartment in a small village close to the lakes.

The location was great - 3 mins from the info point and stairs to the lakes (10-15 min walk to the small lake in total). The host was very helpful and although the sofa bed was a bit broken, tried very hard to fix it. He also fixed a water pressure issue while we were there. He also helped us find somewhere to eat when many things were closed. The kitchenette is well stocked, and the fridge is a good size. The balcony is also lovely. Everything seemed very clean.

The hot water ran out after 5-10 mins so we had to stagger showers. When the sofa bed is fully out, you can't really get past it to the kitchen/balcony, but we ended up not folding it out fully so it was ok. We also went in April and almost every shop, restaurant and ATM was closed in Pomena and the island in general, but that is obviously not any fault of the property!

True Hospitality

Do you remember when you used to meet the host and were not greeted by a lockbox? Well, here at Apartments Lorena Mljet, we were greeted by Pavo, we were welcomed and everything was explained. As we were in Pomena in the ‘off- season’ and almost everything was closed, our host, also a taxi driver, drove us to the supermarket in Polače, waited while we shopped and took our groceries back for us. When our scheduled ferry was cancelled, he advised and sorted the problem. He then drove us at 5am to the other end of the island to catch the early morning boat. We have never come across such an obliging host in all the time we have travelled. We were truly impressed and very grateful. The hiking in the National Park is amazing, the apartment was very comfortable and the balcony a welcome addition.

Great place.

Well laid out space and sea view balcony with afternoon sun. Second balcony off bedroom. Great fly screens and natural ventilation so you do not need to run the air conditioning unit. Everything you need. Very helpful staff, nothing is too much bother. E bike rental expensive but worth it since the hills are long and hard. Easy to travel about since there is little traffic. Bike routes in the national park are very attractive.

Would be a bit cramped if you were using the sofa bed for additional people but the island is made for being outdoors so why would you be in the apartment.

Superb

The appartment is in a nice traditionally built stone house. It is perfectly clean, well equipped and comfortable, although tiny. It has its own balcony with a sea view and we could also use the house tarrace. The host is extra kind. We were allowed to check in much earlier and on check out we could leave our luggage in the house to be able to spend the rest of the day in the national park. Pomena is a beautiful place, perfect for sightseeing of the national park and the appartment is located in the heart of it.

Wonderful hosts, wonderful accommodation on a quiet island.

The location was great. Very close to the center. All facilities are easily accessible. No complaints whatsoever. Excellent location of the accommodation in relation to all the facilities of the place. The view from the terrace of the apartment is beautiful. The pictures of the apartment are accurate.

I have no complaints or that I didn't like something. The only advice is for additional new knives in the kitchen. The entire apartment was clean, tidy, nicely furnished and prepared for guests.
