wonderful apt in Polace with terrace with sea view and very quiet

the apartment has a terrace with the sea view on Polace bay Easy walk to go to polace groceries/bakery/restaurants

no public transportation between polace and pomena. We rented bikes finally

Beautiful view from balcony. Well equipped kitchen. Really comfortable bed. Nice little table with two chairs on balcony. Location for visiting NP Mljet is excellent. Also restaurants and market are close by.

Great place on a great island

The owner was a lovely woman named marry, the rental apartments are on the second floor of her home so she is near by if you need anything. We booked two rooms one for our three kids and one for us, side by side. The views were great and a very short walk to the heart of the village and the beach and national park booth. We stayed for three nights and loved it this island is magical and this small village was great. There is parking near by.

There was air con only in ghe living rooms making the bed rooms very hot at night...no fan even to cool off. There are quite a few stairs to climb to reach the room so that should be taken under consideration. No washing machine and no microwave or dishwasher. But still it had most of what we needed for our stay.

Lovely stay at a spacious apartment with wonderful host.

The view was amazing. We loved the little town of Polace and our host, Maria, was the sweetest lady! The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had all the right equipment, but we had to buy basic things like salt, pepper, and cooking oil. Wifi was strong but didn't reach the living room at times - we didn't mind though. Maria was just downstairs if we needed anything, which was nice.

The whole place was poorly insulated so it was cold even when we had the heat cranked up. The AC was also in the living room rather than the bedroom so your only option was to bundle up at night.

Very clean and excellent location

The property was very clean and situated perfectly in Mljet.

It’s straight forward, clean, comfortable , no frills accommodation and our interactions with the owners was the same - they let you get on with it. Great for a short trip.

Perfect for an overnight Mljet stay

Really good value for money - we had a whole mini apartment with kitchen which is nice to prepare dinner & breakfast on our own. The owner was very nice and the location is perfect for walking / hiking in the national park, you are on a trail in less than 2 min walk. Free parking & a few restaurants + small supermarket very nearby.

Super nice apartment with a great view

The host was very friendly and available for ALL the questions we had. She even made as a cake, which was incredible. The location in Polače is very quite and near the sea, so it’s a great choice if you want some peaceful time with your family or friends.

Smeštaj u Polačama na Mljetu bio je odličan izbor za naš boravak. Lokacija je savršena – na samo nekoliko koraka od plaže, trgovine i restorana u mestu, tako da je sve što vam treba u neposrednoj blizini. Domaćini su izuzetno ljubazni i gostoprimljivi. Posebno bismo istakli domaćina koji nam je dao mnogo zanimljivih informacija o mestu i samom ostrvu, zahvaljujući dugogodišnjem radu u Nacionalnom parku Mljet. Zahvaljujući njemu, otkrili smo neke posebne kutke ostrva koje inače ne bismo posetili. Takođe nam je izašao u susret i pomogao kada smo imali manji kvar na automobilu, što nam je mnogo značilo. Psi su nam bili dobrodošli bez dodatne naknade, što je veliki plus za sve ljubitelje životinja. Domaćin nam je vrlo rado preporučio gde da kupimo domaće maslinovo ulje i vino, što nam je omogućilo da kući ponesemo autentične ukuse ovog predivnog kraja. Apartman je dobro opremljen, klimatizovan, vrlo čist i uredan, pružajući sve što je potrebno za udoban boravak. Veliki bonus su dve terase sa predivnim pogledima na more – savršeno mesto za jutarnju kafu ili večernje opuštanje uz zalazak sunca. Toplo preporučujemo ovaj smeštaj svima koji žele odličnu lokaciju, udoban i čist apartman, kao i domaćine koji su uvek spremni da pomognu i podele svoje bogato lokalno znanje.

Nemojte da vas obeshrabri kontakt sa subagentom, jer znaju biti neprofesionalni i jako neljubazni, usudio bih se reći čak i bezobrazni. Nažalost kontakt sa njima je bio nužan, jer ne dozvoljavaju direktan kontakt sa domaćinima koji su divni i to nikako ne bi trebalo da vam pokvari užitak na najšumovitijem ostrvu.

Lokalizacja znakomita. Blisko port, sklep, restauracje, plaża a mimo to cicho i spokojnie. Doskonałe miejsce wypadowe na wycieczki piesze i rowerowe po Narodowym Parku. Przy porcie dużo wypożyczalni rowerów. Właścicielka bardzo życzliwa i pomocna. Apartament z pięknym widokiem na morze. Wyposażenie podstawowe ale całkowicie wystarczające. Polecam i mam nadzieję, że jeszcze kiedyś tam wrócę :)
