One bedroom apartment with double bed, possibility of an extra bed, kitchen, private bathroom and private terrace with sea view.The spaceOur family owned house is situated in a lovely and peaceful village Pomena on the island of Mljet which is the eighth largest and greenest Croatian island. It is characterized by a Mediterranean climate, dry summers and mild winters and is one of the sunniest Adriatic islands.House is situated just 50 m from the sea and 300m from lakes.Apartment offers cozy bedroom with double bed and exit on private, furnished balcony, fully equipped kitchenette and bathroom with shower. Kitchenette provides fridge, coffee maker, microwave, stove and kitchen utensils. Balcony offers great sea view and view on village. Apartment also features TV, A/C, free WiFi, SAT TV and free parking. Hairdryer is possible on request.Thanks for considering staying with us! Mljet is the southernmost and easternmost of the larger Adriatic Islands of Dalmatia. It is the greenest Island with Mediterranean vegetation, a clear and clean sea, and a gentle sandy shoreline. National Park spreads on the western side of the Island (for over 54km2) and offers shady walking or cycling tracks, ancient ruins, and saltwater lakes. Entrances to NP Mljet is in Polače and Pomena.The main places are Pomena, Polače, and Sobra and in those places, you may find supermarkets, ATMs, restaurants, travel agencies, souvenir shops, etc...Island is regularly connected with Dubrovnik with a ferry from Dubrovnik or Korčula as well as a car ferry connection with Pelješac Peninsula on the Croatian mainland.Being located just over 15 minutes walk to Malo Jezero (Small Lake) of Mljet National Park, the village is the main entry point to the Park. Nowadays it has its hotel, a couple of restaurants and coffee bars, grocery and souvenir shops, agencies etc… As a bay, is a very safe place for anchorage, being sheltered by a tiny island of Pomestak, which acts as a local naturist beach too.Pomena is also a port where one will arrive if you take a day trip to Mljet by fast ferry from Korcula, Hvar, Split, Brac, or Dubrovnik.

Excellent location by the entrance to Mljet National park, just a 15 min walk to the Lakes. Lovely small studio flat is equiped with all amenities (wifi, aircon, kitchen, bathroom, balcony). After a day of exploring the beautiful island, it always felt like coming home to a relaxing space. The atmosphere is peaceful and the surroundings make it easy to unwind.

The house is conveniently located by the entrance to the National Park. The apartment is small, cosy and quiet. Air con is good. The kitchen has all the crockery and cookware you need, an electric hob and a microwave. There's no shower gel in the shower but the hosts kindly left me a gift bag with a small piece of soap and lib balm, both smelled lovely. The recycling containers are located at the back of the house.
The hosts are pleasant and helpful, and brought a slice of tasty apple strudel to the room when I arrived. You can either eat in one of several restaurants in the area or purchase groceries at the tiny store with limited choice.
The atmosphere is the guest house and the area is relaxing and calm, and I enjoyed my stay on the island exploring the park during the day and having a good sleep in my room at night. The only small issue I had was with pillows as the pillowcases are too small/shrunk and my pillow had a long blond hair stuck to it (I'm not blond).
