Ian and Anthony were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble, they went out of their way to supply local knowledge for swimming spots and places to eat. The location, inside the town walls, was excellent and as I had driven there, having a parking permit provided for the duration of my stay was a delightful bonus. Caer Menai is a beautiful listed building and I was very pleased with my room, which had a small fridge ( very welcome in the hot weather) and with other thoughtful extras provided such as bottles of water, fresh milk, plenty of tea and coffee as well as wine glasses and a corkscrew. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide choice for a freshly cooked breakfast as well as cereals, fruit, toast etc . I would have no hesitation in recommending Caer Menai to friends and will definitely be returning

Caer Menai has a very good location, at the foot of Caernarfon Castle in the centre of town. The hosts offer a free parking space nearby. The room was great, with little treats. An exceptional breakfast is provided each morning with a variety of choices. The hosts are very kind and helpful. If we go back to Caernarfon, we will return.

The room was lovely the breakfast was great plus it’s in a great location with places to eat nearby
The bathroom was a bit small but we did book a small double room so that’s reasonable
$$$$
