Did not allot the room facing river side which was agreed and booked for. Room was dirty, washrooms were dirty. Mattresses and bedsheets smelled terrific. Cancelled immediately after check in. Though the staff was understanding and they accepted cancellation request. No elevator in this hotel. Staff moved our luggage to 3rd floor.

When I arrive to Rang Dong Hotel, our room wasn't available. Why, I do not know. I book the room on Agoda. So they gave us another room (#101) at a higher pay. When we came into the room, there was no towels or hair dryer so I had to go ask for some towels. To make matter more unpleasant, the air conditioner wasn't working....so they gave us a fan which help a lot because it very humid in the room. The location was great. It's next to the Mekong River where you can see the ships around there. Next to it was Cafe Hoàng Sa. The food and drinks are pretty decent. The Wi-Fi wasn't strong so staying connected to the internet was a bit frustrating. I wouldn't come back unless they had a room with a working air conditioner and a price they advertise to be true which wasn't.

The hotel is in a state of rundown conditions and it needs a lot of improvements but it is so convenient. Frontage with many restaurants, coffee shops in short walking distant. It was so noisy at night, but it died down at 10PM.
