Lovely staff and the food was good.
Not the most modern pub but ticked all the necessary boxes.
Beth was super !
A bit dated but we enjoyed our stay.
A boot room would have been useful but we did hire boot dryers which was fab.

Staff friendly. Comfortable room.
Better toiletries after a long day walking. Only a small sachet of shower gel not really good enough.
Lots of flies at breakfast which could have been rectified with some fly spray!

Staff were incredibly friendly and although we were late arriving the chef still prepared food for us. Very welcome after 16 miles. The dog even got a sausage treat for breakfast.

Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Nice evening meal.
The heating was off so the room was a little chilly. It cost £122 for one night of B&B for one person. Other places along the coast to coast walk charge £70-£80 for the same service. Charge felt excessive.
