I have stayed here before several years ago since then the property has been completely renovated to a very high standard. Everything is very well appointed. It is run in an efficient, organised and very friendly welcoming manner. Breakfast has an well presented excellent selection. The whole stay was most enjoyable.
The walk up the hill, but I knew that when I booked and the compensation is the location next to a ski lift.

Location was perfect right below the Ski lift. Stunning views of the Zugspitze. Has a lovely bar right next door. Interiors are very cozy. Alexandra was a very kind host and helped us with all the information. Walking distance to everything. Parking also available.
We had big bags, were assigned the second floor and the property had no lifts.
But we get it, it’s a vintage property that’s modernized. Has the charms of carpeted wooden stairs so not really a negative.
