Beautiful garden with a big pool, Hotel in the need for a renovation.

The advantages of this hotel are a beautiful garden, a big pool, a great location at a long beach and tasty food served by very charming staff. We changed our room with an additional fee of 35€/night to a seaside bungalow and enjoyed the time there.

The rooms and other areas also would need a lot of maintenance. There is an old smell, old curtains and friends of us even had rodents in the A/C. The staff is very helpful, but the management is not doing a good job. The sea can be rough, not good for little children.

Must have been wonderful when it was first built

In it's prime it must have been a wonderful resort but it needs to be fully refurbished, the pool area was lovely and being right on the beach was a bonus. They did provide a cake for my partners birthday which was a nice touch.

The room they initially put us in was moldy and smelly there was mold all over the curtains and the outside walls were all dark and moldy. I asked to move rooms but there was no apology or care. Definitely not 5* service and definitely not a 5* hotel. The bed sheets smelt very stale and damp as if not used for a long time and the room had dirt in from previous occupants. All buildings smelt damp and moldy and were clearly run down. I have stayed in everything from 2* to 5* and I have to say I have stayed in better 2* hotels which were cleaner and had better service.

Oceanfront bungalow. Stunning picture perfect views of the beach. Comfortable rooms. Nice pool area with beach access. Good selection from the restaurant.

Doors did not lock from outside, having to leave belongings vulnerable. Could do with some maintenance of bungalows. A repaint would not go a miss.

Mould Smeel room, not confortable for us with a baby.

I liked everything except the mould/moisture smell in the room. The price asked for this is not acceptable. The room needs refurbishment. I will not stay here again if other possibilities are available.

Smell in the room, needs refurbishment. At the checkout, I was telling this to the lady at the counter, she completely ignored me and started to talk with my wife in Thai. Until that moment, she was speaking English and clearly understanding well what I was saying. A problem of instruction that also needs to be repaired (Lack of skills for the job). I just saw foreigners in the hotel, so they need to speak and understand English.

Stunning location, five star staff, needs a complete overhaul.

The staff were absolutely wonderful and five star in every way they could not do enough for you they were polite, happy, obliging and remember your name.

There’s too much to say but basically the pool was filthy around the side and needs a jolly good clean, the whole resort is very tired, there was only one restaurant open. There’s no far anywhere but in the restaurant so nowhere to socialise in the evenings, the pool bar shuts at six, which is the ideal place to open all evening to make Guests feel they have some to go.

Comfortable overnight beach stay

Everything in the room worked as it should. While not tried the swimming pool looked inviting. Room had a partial sea view and was quite spacious.

It was a significant distance from the car park and taking a heavy suitcase was not easy. Walk to the restaurant took some time. Check in and out was a little slow.

Amazing location, right on the beach front. You could have dinner/lunch then literally dive straight into the ocean.

The only good thing about this hotel was the (semi)private pool, which made the stay bearable.

The hotel and the facilities are dated and definitely not a 5 star standard. It would be hard to argue for even 4 stars. The location of the hotel is quite far from everything and the only option to get out is hotel shuttle which goes three times a week for only two hours to a nearby village. The breakfast has quite poor selection, flies are flying all over the food and giant bugs on the floor!! the breakafst room is too small for the size of the hotel, so you might not find a free space to sit. Last day we had an early checkout so we ordered brekafast box which whose content was firstly dissapointing and secondly was full of ants. During the night there are bats flying at the reception and the floor can be covered in bat excrements. The whole place feels understaffed and could use a complete overhaul. Lets not even start with the kids club… a weird small room with a weird smell and a working desk in the middle (??) Save your money and avoid this hotel and go to some nice place in Phuket. There are so many better options!

The whole hotel is quite old and poorly maintained. The bathroom sink is cracked and just glued back together. The toilet door does not work properly. There is a happy hour at the restaurant from 2 PM, but we had to wait 45 minutes for the first cocktail and 40 minutes for the second one, both of very poor quality.

The pool, restaurant and staff were exceptional, being right on what must be one of the loveliest beaches in Thailand.

The accommodation aspect of the resort is very lacking, certainly doesn’t reflect the 5 stars, holes in bedding and towels, poor cleaning standards and quite tatty decor.

paradise atmosphere in a quiet place

Felt just like in the jungle, amazing pool and architecture, could really relax well. Not too many guests but that gave us a nice private feeling. Comfy beds, nice staff, they gave advice what to visit nearby because the natural park I wanted to visit was closed (Similan Island).

Even though there are not much guests, but I could see a lot of personal. If I were the manager, I would tell them to clean up the beach from the lot of plastic garbage the high tide brings to the beach sand every night. Even if just only one guest uses the beach, due to strong wind and huge waves, to keep a clean area would be a must for a 5 star resort.

The location directly on the beach is more than perfect.

Rusty sharp door-handle, my husband cut his finger opening the door. Tap in the shower fell to pieces in the arm. On the breakfast birds eat from the dish with fruits and staff did nothing with it. Without discount and for more than one night would be disappointing.

This was a very bad experience, the whole hotel felt run down and eerie.

The outdoor pool was pleasant and staff were polite.

The whole hotel was underwhelming and badly managed. I didn’t initially get the room I had booked and when I did, the Garden Terrace room which I had booked were crawling with ants. Despite killing them with the spray, the ants came crawling back around my things. The hotel is run down and old, breakfast was unhygienic and disorganised. The gym facilities were very run down, there was no AC in the gym and not even a shop to sell sunscreen.

The location and property layout were great. The beach was gorgeous. There were kayaks, waverunner boards, and some beach toys/games to sign up to use for free. Having a villa with adjoining rooms for a family of 4 was perfect. The massage huts to the right of the hotel property on the beach were nice. Our family enjoyed the beanbag beach chairs and being at a hotel with a beach area that wasn’t very crowded. This beach area felt more secluded for the hotel guests, which was nice.

This was the hardest hotel bed we’ve ever slept on and we’ve slept in hotels all over the world, including other places in Thailand. There was one topper on the bed already. We requested another and staff accommodated, which helped. One of the days of our stay, we had to wait several hours for pool/beach towels to become available. The pictures of the hotel on booking showed chairs on the villa rooftop areas. There were not any chairs on the villa rooftop balconies and some of the rooftop balconies, including ours, needed repair for safety.

There was no soap in the bathroom and the toilet was leaking a bit, but these are only minor drawbacks.
