The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, Costa Navarino

The whole resort is amazing. It is the garden of Eden. The trees, the flowers, the butterflies, the birds, the dragonflies, the pools, the restaurants, the vibe, the atmosphere, the Anazoe Spa, Parafrasi by Ctc restaurant, the wild beach, the sunsets, the tender sea, everything feels better than any home on Earth. We looooove this place. We belong here but it's craaaazy expensive. Each year harder to reach because of it's prices. It's our 5th year in a row stay (four summers at Westin). Romanos Luxury Collection has better breakfast by far, better ambiance at buffet, each day with generosity they bring you a gift in the room, way friendlier staff. Such a child friendly resort.

The rooms immediately need refurbished. They feel and look old. The terrace of the room and the windows were left dirty each day by the cleaning staff. The reception couldn't handle any request, couldn't solve any problem, each time you hear the same thing "I have to talk to my superviser" and in the end nothing can be done. The boogie transfer needs to get safer. The prices are way, way too high. It's so sad for the majority who could never see a place like this.

The breakfast

Not great hospitality. No one gave us a tour of the resort, room wasn’t cleaned until after 17:00 and after we asked twice. No turn down service. We asked for our stay to be extended and we had to wait to learn if we could have it. We were not given a room for early check in and that is ok but when we said we were going to chill by the pool until our room was ready and no one helped us find changing rooms or anything. The room was tired and looked old. The light switches for example looked very dirty around the edges which was not the case in Westin. Staff at breakfast looked like they did not want to be bothered when we asked for a table by the water.
