LUX Suites in Roma

This was an absolutely beautiful suite with an amazing circular bed that was gigantic (the photos don't do it justice) I'm 6 foot 4 and it was wider than me. The indoor jacuzzi bath is such a lovely touch. The suite is equipped with many modern fun stuff like electric curtains, scented shower, colour changing lights throughout, a unique free standing sink and different modes to change the mood lighting in the room. I've never seen anything like it. Throw in a Nespresso machine and a super comfy mattress and free bathrobes and you have a wonderful room to pamper yourself and enjoy (would make a perfect honeymoon or anniversary suite) The staff were very friendly but they are not onsite as they own a restaurant around the corner but anytime I called them they would answer and help with any issues, which unfortunately there was a couple.

When I first got there I felt maybe a little lack of information like the WiFi password, no aircon control or how to use the mood lighting or jacuzzi, but this may be due to them being under stress from also running the restaurant and when I called about this it was all sorted. There was a crack on the toilet seat but I was told this was from the previous guests who just left, there's no way they could have changed the toilet seat there and then so it didn't bother me as the staff were so nice.

Highlights include cleanliness, location, and security, with privacy in a beautiful building. Added bonus - discount with a nearby restaurant which was great! The staff were responsive and helpful with wifi queries.

The room was small and a bit difficult to move around in with large suitcases. The shower jacuzzi didn't have the greatest water pressure. The bathroom sink was awkward, and getting ready with cosmetics was difficult with the room's limited bench space.

the location was great. Plenty of restaurants right next to were we stayed. Air codition was great sonce it was 99 degrees everyday.

If you want to stay in an lovely apartment.. that is pretty close to many things then this is an OK choice. Apart from the things listed below.. the Chinese women that did the passport stuff she was smiley and friendly. And it was not her fault. She was happy when approached. I think the rooms have good potential.. there just seems to be no guide of management in place. If it did this place would have much better potential.

Although we did not get the experience we hoped for. I got an email upon booking which I can happily attach here saying to check in between 12-1pm. Stated I could check in until 3.30pm. No one was answering door. Number nothing. Was outside with suitcase. Someone answered. Didn't no speak much English and was quiet abrupt with me on the phone. Got another phone call told to come back after 3. Came back after 3 they opened stated I don't no if your room is ready but lucky it was. Got showed to our room to which waited for ... for a while. So began to get unchanged wanted a shower. 10 minutes in a women knocked on the door wanted our passports... My credit card on file for the 100 pound (in case of damage) and city tax which for some reason has to be in cash (dodgey) but just so you are aware. I explain I'm half undressed and how this is unprofessional and should have been done before showed to our room so I gave her this stuff and she came back without my card receipt and became confused when I asked for it but I asked for it because she did a translation on my card without It being infront of me. The whole thing was extremely dodgy. When checking into hotel... Passports..  money anything needs to be sorted gets done before going to room and in front of customer for fraud reasons I felt very un safe the whole evening for this matter. Last problem is the consist banging from early hours 6.30am! Drilling and banging on literally what feels like your ceiling!!! I wouldn't of stayed here for all the nonsense just mentioned but the room is lovely. And it was easy to get around. It's important to note this is no hotel your room does not get clean and the towels are tiny so bring your own. Also found out our pet died on second to last night so was crying in the room. Man knocked on door and told partner in language can you stop 'arghgg' worst thing ever... as I was not shouting I was distraught... anyhow... that is all.
