Great cottage
Perfectly placed for my friends restaurant in Kortemark (The Hapkin) The whole cottage was spotless clean, the beds very comfortable and we slept well. It was warm and cozy. The only slight negative was the lack of an outside rubbish bin (none we could see at any rate) so not wanting to leave bags outside for animals we left the 2 bags tied up in the kitchen but this is not a reason for not wanting to stay again.. It's a short drive to Bruges which is a bonus.. Parking for cars was no problem. Would I use again? most definitely yes....
If you want things close to you and you don't drive then this ain't for you. Taxi's are difficult to order if at all. You have to pay a deposit via international bank transfer which costs you money but lucky for me my Belgium freind did it there but bear in mind when booking...

Prettig verblijf voor groot gezin. Niet mijn voorkeur.
- Prijs-kwaliteit is goed in verhouding, voornamelijk omdat je er met 6 man in kan. - Alles wat in eerste opzicht erg schoon. - Bedden voelde ook allemaal zeer schoon. Heel prettig. Goed kunnen slapen. - Buiten hangen poepzakjes. Heel slim en goed! - Fles wijn bij aankomst. - Overal is zeep en zelfs in de douche shampoo en zeep. - Fijne douche. - Verwarming werkt goed en snel!
- Keukengerei miste wat belangrijkste basis elementen naar mijn mening zoals snijmessen (koksmessen) - dit was er gewoon helemaal niet. En geen kaasschaaf en afwasborstel. Dat er bijv geen staafmixer is, snap ik. Maar bovenstaande zijn wat mij betreft wel basis. - Schimmel op snijplank - kwam ik helaas telaat achter. - Keuken rook een beetje naar ouderen verzorgingstehuis. Niet mn lievelingsgeur. Badkamer rook naar riool. Voor de meeste misschien geen issue, maar ik vind het wel lastig. - Hek voor sluit niet goed - niet ideaal met slimme hond die het open kan trekken. - Hoe tof de tuin ook is voor de hond, een puppy zou ik niet aanraden. Ze is in de hap- en eetfase en de tuin ligt vol met stukken schors. We konden haar helaas niet loslaten. - We hebben een puppy die graag langs alle randjes en hoekjes komt snuffelen en zo kwamen we er al gauw achter dat er op veel plekken stof hangt en (dode) spinnen met webben. Zoals onder het bed en achter de bank. - Geen stopcontacten bij het bed. Alleen één normale usb aansluiting per kant. Dit is wat outdated gezien veel nu USB C is.

Fantastisch!
Het huisje was uitstekend uitgerust, alles was aanwezig! En dan bedoel ik echt alles: handdoeken, toiletpapier, washandjes, keukenhanddoeken en vaatdoeken, vaatwasblokjes, shampoo, zeep, (strip-)boeken, gezelschapsspellen, een flesje wijn, een ventilator in elke kamer,… Nog een pluspunt voor de slechte slapers in ons gezin: twee van de drie kamers kan je volledig verduisteren met rolluiken.
De kinderkamer had ook fijn geweest als die beter verduisterd kon worden. Hier en daar een vloerkleedje om het iets huiselijker te maken. Maar dan ben ik echt aan het muggenziften ;-)
