An absolute gem of an apartment, fabulous owners, beautiful rustic place

This is an absolute gem of an apartment! Fantastic for families. The location is perfect for visiting towns and cities nearby. The owners are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. We were even given an apple cake! They gave us lots of ideas on where to visit and were happy to help any time we had a query. The facilities for families are fantastic including animals, ride on toys, a pool table and a table tennis table. The apartment is extremely well equipped in the kitchen as well as the living room and bedrooms.

Some new bathroom floor mats would be a nice addition.

The location was good, apartment had everything we needed. The extra facilities table tennis, pool, darts etc were an added bonus and the animals were great.

No double bed and difficulties with WiFi.

The place is situated at a farm outskirts of Ypres, peaceful and quiet, picturesque countryside scenery. We enjoyed seeing and greeting the pet animals like donkeys, horses, geese, goats, alpacas…and the summer flowers every day. The host is very warm and welcoming, really appreciated the human touch at the place. The flat is comfortable and spacious, we really enjoyed our stay there.

We used this property as a base for a WW1 visit with our grandchildren. All worked very well.

Our hosts were exceptionally hospitable and helpful. We enjoyed the rural setting. An excellent location for exploring this part of Belgium with close access to the A19.

Nothing we didn’t like but visitors have to be ok with steps and staying in a rural farm setting.

De luidruchtige buren. Maar de eigenaars heeft hen erover aangesproken en dan was het veel beter.

Prachtig en rustgevend

De hoeve is gelegen op een rustige en prachtige locatie met vele dieren. De ontvangst was warm en hartelijk, en er stond een appelcake op tafel, welke ons heel goed heeft gesmaakt. Ook de hond was welkom. De accommodatie is eenvoudig, maar alles is aanwezig. Er is voldoende ruimte en er zijn 2 badkamers. Er is ook een ontspanningsruimte met onder andere een pingpongtafel, biljart- en darts. De ligging is ideaal om van daaruit bezienswaardigheden rond WO I te bezoeken.
