Santa Marta Hotel

It is a nice hotel in a good location. We walked most of the time. It is close to the Plaza and the hotel has a very special charm. The upright piano in the comfortable gathering room could use tuning, but it is a nice place to sit and relax. The rooms are large, and there is hot water in shower and sink. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Recommendation for a restaurant: Los Portales, second floor with view over the Plaza.

It was a great experience, except for the breakfast. The breakfast was ok, but very basic. The bread and rolls could be better. For a Peruvian hotel the coffee was also very basic. Both could be better. Otherwise it was good. Eggs made to order, Strawberry Jam, fruit, cheese, and cereal.

It was noisy. Rooms are not soundproof, so you can hear everything that goes on in the hotel and the traffic from the street

My location is the best, it was clean and for the most part it was comfortable!

The breakfast plane, but everything looks clean and edible. The server was very polite and always around to ensure a customer will.
