Exceptional stay! From the room to the facilities, but especially the staff! They go above and beyond to help! The rooms are clean the bathroom are spacious and situated in great location but it still feels quiet.

Very nice owners and staff. All very communicative, attentive and understanding. (I messed up the dates a little and we got into an agreement very quickly) The people were also fun 😊 The AC worked perfectly (for me this is important)

. The hosts initially seemed fine so we hired a scooter from them for 100k including petrol. It was only when we were going downhill on the steep roads in Lembongan that we realised the brakes on the scooter were faulty - we were unable to brake causing us to loose control of the vehicle. It was a very dangerous situation and thankfully we managed to stop with no injuries. From then on out one of us had to get off and walk while the other carefully road the motorcycle downhill. We are experienced motorcycle riders and have rented better quality motorcycles at other locations in Indonesia and SE Asia. We contacted the owner via WhatsApp immediately to let them know the brakes were faulty and we would bring back the motorbike after lunch. Since we had only hired it for 2hrs and the brakes were faulty we said we would pay 50k rather than 100k. It was not right that the owners rented out such faulty motorbikes but as an act of good faith we were willing to pay half the price. However, the owner demanded we pay 100k, then demanded we paid 80k for half day hire of a motorcycle with no acknowledgment that the brakes were faulty. We stated we would not be reviewing this place well due to the poor customer service - the owner accused us of threatening him. He anyway agreed to 50k via WhatsApp and we thought that was the end of that. When we got back to the Guesthouse a random lady showed up and started yelling at accusing me of lying about the brakes (I don’t know why I’d lie about the fact that I could have fallen off and injured myself due to the lack of brakes!!). She wanted me to go with her to “prove” the brakes weren’t working but I wasn’t going to waste my time going with her to prove my case, especially because she wanted me to ride on the bike with her - the very bike I did not feel was safe! She claimed she tested all the brakes out and we were lying. She continued screaming at me and I walked off, refusing to engage in such behaviour.
