Location suited us perfectly close to the party we were attending. Very clean and immaculate

Room is in the roof of the building with quite restricted headroom particularly the bathroom sink. However the stay was terrific

Great place to stay if you need a simple but comfortable place to stay.

Very comfy. It’s a self contained flat effectively so it was good.

We both had a shower and although the shower was very good, I think it must have a smallish tank as the hot water run out and it was running slightly luke warm on the second shower.

Nice Location Helpful hosts Great Views Feels totally separate to their home so no worries about making noise or coming back too late Apartment has most things you need in it The bed was comfortable- we didn’t find the road to noisy at all ( barely noticed ) Lots of space in the apartment . Nice touch having 2 televisions Enough utensils to be able to cook (pans,plates, can opener )

Apartment was missing a few things : -bin in the bathroom -toilet brush -scissors -bedside table ( for phones and water) Other notes: - from far the apartment looks clean and tidy but under closer inspection it needs a deep clean ( corners of bathroom were quite grotty), shower head needs replacing, floors in living room looked like they hadn’t been cleaned and had boot marks on, wardrobe was very dusty ) - some details/ finishings of the apartment weren’t completed or done messily (no skirting boards in certain places, corking around the shower and in corners of bathroom was done poorly ) -lots of cobwebs and spiders gave the impression that it hasn’t been throughly cleaned in a while - We had a slight problem at check in , another guest had gone into our apartment and locked the door, hosts were quick to rectify this and were happy to change the sheets upon my request - but it does suggest they may need to change their check in process so this doesn’t happen again , luckily he hadn’t been there long otherwise another full clean would need to be done which could delay check in for hours . - our check in instructions told us to park in the designated parking but we were then told to park in a spot that wasn’t designated parking ( essentially a gravel walkway for one of the gates ) - would’ve been nice to be able to park our car in an actual parking spot as mentioned upon booking and for them to have made sure a space was free . -water from the shower sprays into the bathroom because of the design ( no door into shower) , which could cause a slip hazard - especially for older guests - the sofa is very ugly, a newer sofa could make the apartment look and feel much nicer ( most likely they just bought the cheapest sofa on Facebook marketplace they could find ) .But it does function normally .

Just one night , was at wedding st Rookery hall so good value for money, £8 uber to Rookery Hsll, trn mins drive.

I enjoyed my stay and will be back soon.

Love the convenient location to my older daughter’s house on Brydson Crescent. It is typically quiet even with a busy road nearby. The host makes it very easy to check in and out by communicating online and leaving a key.

My only slight negative was the amount of spiders in the apartment. I am not afraid of spiders but I can see how it would be a concern for some people.

Fantastic !

Absolutely 10/10 on everything ! Beautiful setting , wonderfully thought out on every level even the parking . Well laid out accommodation and every facility a traveller needs . I had a good nights sleep after a hard day on site and even the Rising Sun across the road is well placed for an excellent meal ! Thanks so much , I will be staying again

rookery garden apartment is perfect in every way....location,facilites, comfort.....

I am sorry ,..apartment was perfect in every way , the only down side was the men staying upstairs ! they came in at 1am drunk , were very loud and stomping around up stairs ,,then at about 2.30 am one of their friends was banging on our patio doors demanding to be let in!!!!.....my partner was frightend, and we never got to sleep until around 4am.

Awesome. Really comfortable and clean.

Quiet and peaceful, very well kept. Lovely facilities and really friendly owners. Who also offered us a free lift to our evening plans. Couldn’t thank them enough. We really enjoyed our stay here!

A very peaceful night for a long time

I liked the location as you could have a jog or walk around a lot of green space. I got ther very late but the reception was excellent when I got showed around and into my apartment and its cleanliness. I slept like a baby a very peaceful area. The owners were great and lovely

Fabulous place with super hosts

Very close to very busy, noisy day and night main A road there is a safe crossing no too far away but once crossed there isn't a causway, just a rough, extremely narrow grass verge. Obviously not the property's fault! If you aren't used to traffic noise or are a light sleeper - suggest earplugs.

Fantastic value for money!

The property was extremely spacious. The view from the window is beautiful and I spent a lovely evening reading on the sun terrace. It was exceptionally clean and lovely to know that Kevin was only a text away should I need him. It was also great to have somewhere to park the car. Overall I had a lovely stay and would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

The Tv was dated meaning not all steaming services were available. I couldn’t get on to ITV X

Awful. Infested with wasps and a host who chose to diminish the issue and disparage his guests.

We chose this place as the reviews were good, but unfortunately the host turned on us as soon as something went wrong.

The host Kevin was laughably insulting and rude. We had a wasp infestation and he chose to downplay the issue. He even resorted to alleging that I was exaggerating the situation just to try and get money back. This was the day of a wedding, so arguing with a hostile proprietor while trying to flush out wasps was not something I had in mind or wanted to do, I was simply trying to cover the cost of having to change accommodation. Choosing to disparage his guests over taking accountability was just an embarrassing and confrontational way to deal with a very clear problem.

Modern, clean and comfortable.

We booked the larger ground floor apartment for ourselves which we had previously stayed in. My son stayed in the apartment above. Ideal for us all. Comfortable, modern and clean. Reassuring that the friendly owners are on the premises. Lovely to have access to a garden and parking. Just across the road from a pub if you don't want to cook.

Above a garage and unfortunately there must be a wasp nest in the mortar therefor I came back to lots of wasps in the window!

Beautiful surroundings, lovely apartment, clean and modern.

Not only was it a gorgeous apartment the grounds were amazing! We had brought a little M&S picnic and sat outside at the table by a pond. The main house is stunning! What a great little find.

Very clean and modern with everything we needed. Nice views over the fields and able to watch the sunset - fabulous. As the weather was really good we appreciated the small patio area with a couple of easy chairs and table.

I found the bed pushed against the wall with the sloping roof area a bit awkward getting in and out when both of us were in bed. This also meant there was nowhere to put anything needed during the night on a bedside table. I think the owners might consider having the bed in a different position in the room to alleviate the problem.

Everything we needed for a short stay

Well equipped and beautifully clean apartments with a lovely garden area. The garden apartment has a lovely seating area and private garden. It is quite spacious too, with a shower over the bath and a separate bedroom and lounge/kitchen. The Loft apartment is smaller but beautifully compact with everything you need. The owners are very helpful and friendly. There are several of good gastropubs within 15 mins, as well as takeaway options. Also Co-op just 3 mins away. We will be staying again
