Good stay but mostly because of the staff, the hotel was a bit underwhelming

Great views, lovely pool, modern bar and restaurant, Greek night was fantastic

Bedrooms were a bit tired and grubby, bedsheets didn’t fit and were a little stained and had some small holes. Food was very basic. Coffee in the morning was instant, unless you paid for a coffee from the bar. Eggs were the best.

The excellent location of the hotel gave us ready access to the beach and splendid restaurants

The Greek evening was very entertaining and good value. The location is superb with wonderful views. The receptionist/administrator was exceptionally helpful and always dealt with any issues in a friendly and professional manner.

Regarding the food, we were not particularly impressed. While we enjoyed one or two dishes, we chose to dine out most evenings at nearby restaurants. Breakfast was mediocre: I did appreciate the fried eggs (rather than the typical scrambled eggs), but only Nescafé instant coffee was offered unless guests paid extra for proper coffee. The camomile tea ran out during our stay and was never replenished, despite my request. The house wine was also unremarkable. Breakfast — and sometimes other meals — were accompanied by loud pop music, which we found intrusive. It might be worth asking guests whether they actually enjoy this. The main problem we encountered was with the air conditioning in our room. The compressor appeared to be broken, and the unit only blew warm air instead of cooling. We reported this before the receptionist’s day off, but in her absence no effective action could be taken. Although the restaurant staff did contact technicians, they were unable to fix the problem and did not offer a room change, even though the night temperature in our room reached 31°C. Once the receptionist returned, I requested an alternative room. At first none was available, but having checked the website myself, I saw that a suite was free. After a short delay, she was able to obtain approval for us to move there, which effectively saved our holiday. The original room also had several minor maintenance issues: the shower door would not close properly, and a loose towel hook caused the towels to fall. I asked the restaurant staff to see to these, but nothing was done, despite it being a very quick fix. Even in the suite, we noticed that the bathroom fittings were heavily corroded, and the cover for the waste pipe was missing. I appreciate that the Corfu climate is harsh on fittings, but in a luxury suite, higher-quality materials should be expected.

We will definitely return

The room had beautiful decor, the bathroom was stunning, my daughters loved sleeping on the sofa bed (age 9 and age 4). I read previous reviews about having to pay for air conditioning, this wasn't the case when we were there, the air con was free and a simple hit of the button. The swimming pool was gorgeous and the rooftop bar was simply stunning (with the most amazing cocktails, the barmaid was fantastic). We really did not want to leave.

First class holiday location

The room was an excellent choice. On the top level with a view over the pool to the sea and the islands. The evening meal choice on the half board menu was mostly good and the Service was first class. The staff were all very helpful and cheerful. The location is very good. Although slightly uphill from the main town street and the beach it is an easy climb. The access path to the beach is just across the road and then along to a long flight of stairs. However you miss having to dodge very fast traffic on the road which is a big bonus.

Breakfasts were a bit boring. The coffee and tea provision feels on the cheap end and as the urn has to be refilled by frequently (with cold water!) it means that it is often not at a decent temperature for tea or coffee. The sun bed availability has the usual problem with guests placing towels etc for all day booking. The hotel should have some dirt of policy such as removing towels/other belongings if the beds are vacated for longer than an hour.

Perfect location. It is very close to the beach. The room was very big and comfortable. There was an air conditioner that could change the temperature of the room in a few minutes. The terrace is long and has a view of different directions. Very kind staff - both in the hotel and in the restaurant. Regular cleaning of the rooms. We arrived late in the evening but there was no problem with check-in and the restaurant stayed open for us so we wouldn't go to bed hungry. Great restaurant - very tasty food and fast service. Normal prices, compared to the quality offered. We didn't get a chance to try the bar above the restaurant, but there was shows in some of the days and it looked like fun. The hotel pool was great. Very clean water, enough space around the pool. All amenities were available if one did not want to get dirty with sand but want to be by the water. Beautiful view and vegetation. Nice music in the bar, around the pool and in the restaurant.

Kitchenware is almost missing. You should buy a lot of things if you are planning to cook. There was a problem with alternating hot and cold water in the shower. The view is partly towards the sea because the building in front largely hides it. The parking space is not enough for all the cars, some of which belong to the staff and I had to look for a parking space in front of other hotels. The breakfast was delicious but nothing different was offered for the entire stay. A mostly English breakfast is the standard and only menu.

Very nice and relaxing place. Very clean and well maintained facility. The restaurant provides nice view over the pool and the sea. We did get beautiful sunsets. Good starting point to visit the north of the island

The welcome in the hotel is limited, we were simply given a letter with a few instructions The breakfast buffet is a bit disappointing (juice and coffee of poor quality). The food for dinner could also be improved

Lovely stay

Beautiful room. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Lovely bar/restaurant serving wonderful food. Greek night was amazing! Great fun and excellent value.

There was a fridge but no complimentary water and there was a kettle but no tea/coffee provided. Would have liked the towels to have been changed more frequently

We Stayed in a queen's suite. Everything about this place was excellent. Staff rooms location all perfect.

Modern, comfortable hotel with disappointing breakfast

The rooms are very modern and comfortable. Staff is also helpful and friendly. The location is good, just outside of town so it's a short walk to restaurants and cafés, and is slightly elevated with a wonderful view of the sea and coastline.

There were two negatives, one minor and one major. The minor one is that the pool is located on the side of the property where the road goes by in a hairpin curve, so it's sometimes loud, but at least it's a relatively quiet road. The major negative is the breakfast. It's included in the room rate, but is honestly one of the worst hotel breakfasts I've ever had. There was a poor selection of sliced cheese and meat, some hard boiled eggs, baked beans and low quality sausages, plus toast and watery coffee. I assume the hotel caters mainly to package British tourists, who seemed happier with the breakfast than I was, but the lack of higher quality food and wider choice (like fresh fruit, cereal, other types of eggs) was very disappointing and didn't fit with the standard of the rooms and pool which were much better than the breakfast.

The view from the balcony was amazing! The location was perfect, the pool and the restaurant as well as the fact that it was close to the beach and to the town. The people working there were very friendly, and the food was good!

The room was not so comfortable, as there were blanc white walls, no nice small light, no decoration at all, just the basics. In the night the mosquitos were annoying.

Really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Spacious and clean rooms with the balcony, great sunset views (if you have the room with the sea view), great pool, nice restaurant, great stuff. Good breakfast with salads, fruits, flakes, yoghurt, good coffee from the machine.

There was a note next to the coffee machine that you shouldn’t have more than one coffee, this sounded bit strange and unpleasent. Recommend to remove it.

3 nights in this heavenly hotel felt like 2 weeks and we cannot wait to return

This is an amazing family run hotel that puts their heart and soul into their customers fulfillment and it shows. It has a picture perfect location for the beautiful sunsets on this side of the island. The pool and surrounding areas of the hotel are impeccably maintained. The food and cocktails were great.

We were staying in one of the older style rooms and knew what to expect, it was perfectly clean and a good size and had a larger than normal fridge so cannot fault it. The only suggestions for improvement would be a quieter air conditioning unit, some toiletries, a slightly softer mattress and sweet pastries at breakfast but these are constructive criticisms as we fell in love with the hotel and staff so much that we cannot wait to return

Wonderful experience

The view we had was absolutely stunning, i would definitely recommend to anyone getting one of the sea view apartments - the sunsets are breathtaking. The staff were lovely too, both Taylor and Nicole are huge assets to the team. The area around the hotel is fab, lots of restaurants, shops and lots of things to do. we never had a dull moment.

Overpriced location and don't trust pictures - lesson learnt

The terrace of the restaurant is nice. You can also visit it as a guest.

The (family) room, unfortunately, was a disaster for this price. The balcony did not had any view to the sea but instead got the full noise from the kitchen vent. All other guests had a great view into our room. No complementary coffee/tea in the rooms. The blinds were broken. Finally don't expect too much from the breakfast.

Relaxing stay at Agios Stefanos

Poor breakfast: whilst in Greece one expects local dishes,fresh vegetables and fruits. Unfortunately this hotel serves mainly becon, nesquick, Jam, toast bread and poor quality ham. Next time I would opt for stay without breakfast. Also we were given king size bed instead of Twin bed which we asked for.

Good hotel with a great view, but there is room for improvements

The view of the room was amazing, we could watch all the time the beautiful sunsets. The room was very comfortable. The staff was also very kind and friendly during our stay.

Breakfast was very limited. in theory it started at 8.30 am (which is very late if you want to enjoy the day), and it was never ready at that time. It was always missing certain food for a certain period. Every day smelled like sewage in the room at a specific time of the day, I do not know if it was a problem in the building, but it bothered after a week, we had to open the window of the toilet all the time. The TV had all the channels in german (why?), I couldn't change it. We also did not feel safe at certain moments concerning anti COVID-19 measurements, especially during breakfast. Face masks were never used by the staff, which makes it difficult in giving the best example to the clients.

Hospitality and an amazing view!

The hotel is situated on the edge (uphill) of Agios Stefanos. That makes the view spectacular! We stayed at the top situated luxury appartement with our 1 year old daughter. Balconies are safe and overall it's kids-friendly. The hotel and facilities are up-to-date and clean. They take good care of the area. Good value for money in every way. The food, the facilities and the staff. Hospitality is their main concern. The roof top bar provides a nice location for watching sunsets. The keen eye of the barkeeper attended us on the passing of dolphins! Far away, but still..

On the downside, the mattress is quite hard. But that's a matter of taste, right?

Superb location, nice pool, some issues.

The location was perfect. The buildings and surroundings were beautiful. The view from the restaurant was superb. The pool was clean, nice and not crowded with many available sunbeds. The room and the bathroom were clean and quite comfortable.

The balcony with a sunset view was practically unusable due to the sewer smell outside. Connecting to the WiFi was impossible at all despite numerous attempts on multiple devices. Breakfast was good, but monotonous with inflexible options and long waiting times.
