Drafty windows required to crank up heating

We had a lovely stay in this incredibly well equipped apartment. The kitchen has everything you need to make slap up meals & they supplied lots of espresso pods & little cakes for your morning shot of energy & even milk, bottled water, olive oil & spices. There is also a blender & juicer. There is a dishwasher, washer & dryer & racks to put your wet bathing suits & towels. There are 2 good sized bath/shower rooms, supplying shampoo, conditioner, soap dispensers, tissues & a hairdryer. There is a lovely, large balcony, with reclining chairs & an outdoor dining table. The lounge/diner is a good size, with plenty of seating & a good sized TV. The beds were comfortable & all the rooms have external blackout blinds, which means you can keep your windows open, for fresh air, while avoiding the early morning sun. The air conditioning works well too. The pool is small but enough for a leisurely swim & there are outdoor showers. The beach is approximately a 10 min walk away, with plenty of bars & restaurants on the way. As you turn directly left out of the apartments on Camino Del Faro & walk straight down the road, there is a lovely churro cafe, on the Avinguda de la Costa Blanca & two blocks to the right of this there is a small pharmacy, convenience store, greengrocer & bakery. A little further afield, roughly a 10 minute walk, on the Avinguda de les Nacions, is a larger Mercadona/supermarket. Along this route, you will also find bus & tram stops, for cheap & easy access to Alicante Centre, Castell de Santa Bàrbara (free & well worth a visit) & Benidorm. If you like Italian food, I highly recommend Bruto. Turn right out of the apartments, stay on the Camino Del Faro & it's around a 10 min walk straight up the road. Direct routes to Luceros (Alicante Central Square) - Tram line 4 at Av. Naciones or bus route 22 to Luceros - El Sabio.

2 of the chairs in the lounge are in need of reupholstering, as there were staples coming out of them. On the 5th day of our stay, for some reason, the water level went down below the filters and it meant a lot of bugs and leaves were left in the pool. The more private shower cubicles are shabby and in need of updating, however there is an outdoor shower, just by the pool, so there is no need to use these.
