A bit of surprise

Quiet flat, good location , nice host who explained things to us very well.

Extra charges for towels and bed sheets which was a bit of a shock. As well we were charged a large deposit ( which was in the ad) we were shown the cleaning supplies and vacuum cleaners to clean throughly which is the most absurd experienc because we usually clean but we are not professional cleaners!, but we did it because the host had €250 deposit. I’m disappointed that it was not clear in the ad that we had to vacuum the flat!! Would not have stayed if we knew.

The wonder of Besse.

Clean and well equipped apartment. Great location with just a ten minute walk into the centre of the beautiful medieval city of Besse. Spacious and roomy. The perfect place to stay if you want to explore the wondrous Auvergne. Great hosts in Johanne and his wife (whose name we didn't get, sadly).

Besse... Very nice town

The write up on Booking gave the impression that the apartments were an integral part of the hotel... They are not and the staff make that very clear that they are not the same ownership. The apartments are very small and very poor quality. There was no door catch or lock on the bathroom, the sofa only sat 2 people and was torn. The kitchen/diner very cramped worn and shabby. The hotel restaurant is only open between 7pm and 8pm and you have to book in the morning. Whist we were there some of the apartments were being used by road workers

Tout ,le gite le cadre la gentillesse du propriétaire fort sympathique. De plus comme le temps était très pluvieux se dernier nous a donné de bon conseil pour occuper nos journées. je ne peu que recommander vivement cette location et je pence que nous y retourneront surement. Un grand merci a JOHANN pour sa gentillesse.

Séjour au top, belles balades et bonne gastronomie !

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la situation du logement, très au calme. Le propriétaire, très sympathique, nous a accueilli à notre arrivée. Il nous a conseillé des randos, des restaurants et des lieux sympas de baignade aux alentours 😊 Besse est une petite ville très agréable, nous avons profité des festivités et des marchés.

Très bon emplacement à quelques minutes de marche du très chouette centre bourg, au calme et au départ direct de plusieurs balades ou randonnées. Hôtes très sympathiques et arrangeants, de bons conseils et très disponibles. Propreté impeccable. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Super séjour. Région magnifique et ressourçante.

Nous avons séjourné 5 nuits chez Johann très sympathique - appartement très fonctionnel où il est faisable de loger à quatre au retour de toutes vos balades - appartement proche du village pittoresque de Besse et non loin de sites à visiter entre 10 et 30km. Bon couchage, lit fait à notre arrivée pour 10e très correct, et les produits de nettoyage à disposition pour rendre sa location propre.

Le seul petit bémol , dit à Yohann , serait pour nous d’avoir les toilettes séparées de la salle de bain , et de pouvoir se reposer sur un petit canapé un peu plus ferme - (c’est déjà bien d’avoir un canapé 🙂) c’est appréciable le soir de se poser,

Le camp de base parfait : confort, nature, authenticité !

Appartement confortable, situé dans la verdure, à 10 mn du centre historique de Besse, à 5 km du lac Pavin, tout près du Sancy. Un paradis pour les amateurs de randonnées et de balades (départs possibles du gîte), de calme, de nature et d'authenticité. Stationnement à côté du gîte. Appartement bien équipé, très fonctionnel (nombreux placards, grands chambres...) et très propre. Bien isolé aussi (murs épais des maisons anciennes), appréciable quand il fait très chaud à l'extérieur ! Accueil très sympathique de Johann et de sa compagne, toujours disponibles et de très bons conseils sur les activités, randonnées, restaurants... des alentours. Une adresse à garder précieusement, mais aussi à partager !

Devoir partir de ce lieu sympathique, et quitter cette belle région, car fin des vacances !

Séjour 3 nuits en famille

Tout était très bien. L'appartement était fonctionnel, assez grand pour 3 personnes avec une place de parking à côté du logement. Le propriétaire était très gentil et donnait de bonnes recommandations sur les lieux à visiter/restaurants. Plutôt calme selon les voisins. Le centre ville avec bars, restaurants, boutiques est proche de la location ce qui est parfait.

La literie peut être un peu ferme mais sinon tout était très bien

Un logement spacieux ,propre et confortable . Logement est ben situé pour faire la randonnée et très calme. Si on cherche à se ressourcer c'est une bonne adresse.

Le logement rien à dire mais la ville n'est pas terrible. Les restaurants et les magasins sont souvent fermés. Il n'y a pas d'activités dans le centre ville et le parc n'est pas entretenu. La ville ne fait rien pour attirer et retenir les touristes.
