The Gîte de la Fontaine Goyon in the countryside is located 500 meters from the medieval village and rebirth of BESSE and SAINT-ANASTAISE, at the start of hiking trails.

This mountain lodge at 1050 meters above sea level is near the ski resort of Super-Besse and along the COUZE PAVIN river.

At the heart of the Auvergne and the chain of Puys recently classified UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE in the Natural Park of Auvergne Volcanoes and the Massif du Sancy, its central location will offer all activities and leisure in a minimum of displacement :

SPORTS: Ski, multi-slides and winter activities, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, swimming pool and water sports, play sports, horse riding, climbing and zip-line.

Fantastic gite in a stunning area

Lovely, comfortable and well equipped gite. It has everything you could need for a comfortable stay, including WiFi!! Patrice and Maryline were lovely and gracious hosts, very friendly. The gite is situated at the end of a small road, a 10min walk from the town. Very peaceful and quiet. The town is a lovely small medieval city, with lots of lovely walks around it and a few nice restaurants, I would recommend Le Bessoi for fantastic mountain food, at a reasonable cost. We had a lovely holiday here, and would definitely return to this area, and this lovely gite.

Very comfortable and beautifully equipped gite (remember to bring your own sheets and towels), with private gardens. Patrice and Maryline were extremely helpful and the gite was spotless. The location was perfect with walks direct from the gite up into the hills, or down into the pretty town of Besse. Would highly recommend.

This is a lovely gite in a beautiful part of the Auvergne within walking distance of a very characterful old town with great shops and places to eat. The mountain walks just a few kilometres away are stunning! Views from Puy de Sancy and Roc de Cuzeau are completely breathtaking across the whole of the Massif Central! The back road from Besse to Mont Dore across the pass via the Croix St Robert is not to be missed! Our hosts were on site and so helpful and friendly, even providing us with bedding when we turned up without! We will be back!

We had a warm welcome from the owners and the house was spotlessly clean. There is plenty to do locally if you dont want to drive far and the garden to relax in after a day of activity. It is a short walk into Besse for the bakers, supermarket, bank, bars and restaurants. The market is on Monday which has local produce as well as the usual stalls.

Absolutley superb position within easy ten minute walk to delightful, medieval town with cafes, bars, shops and wonderful Monday market.Good supermarket close by. The house is situated at the end of the village looking out onto hills and fantastic scenery and the sound of cow bells in summer. The accommodation is state of the art and extremely clean.The owners, Patrice & Maryline, are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.Would highly recommend this property and hope to return one day. Location au top, spacieuse, bien équipée et très propre située en bordure d'un bois, très calme. Propriétaires accueillants et disponibles. A notre arrivée, ils nous ont présenté la région et de la documentation est mise à la disposition permettant ainsi d'organiser le séjour . Belle région, avec de belles randonnées et de belles visites. On reviendra.

Nous avons occupé le gîte avec nos deux enfants de 9 et 13 ans, avec qui nous avons partagé la grande et confortable chambre familiale. Le gîte est très bien conçu, spacieux, bien équipé (nous avons en particulier apprécié le petit lave-vaisselle et la machine à laver), le tout avec une déco à la fois sobre et moderne, parfaite pour un lieu de vacances! L'accès à la station de Super-Besse se fait très facilement et rapidement (une dizaine de minutes) et nous avons pu profiter du joli village de Besse-et-Saint-Anastaise après les journées de ski. Un merci tout particulier à notre hôte qui a ravi les enfants (et les adultes) par la visite des locaux de pisciculture juste en face. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir :)

Proche du bourg,des commerces(500m) et resto pour les amateurs face à la pisciculture de la fede des pecheurs du puys de dome,ce gite, au depart des itineraires de plusieurs rando,ses proprietaires sont vraiment à conseiller Si vous osez,vous en reparirez gonflé à bloc,pret à affronter toutes les difficultes qui se presenteront

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au gite de la fontaine Goyon. Très bon emplacement, le village de Besse est accessible à pied. Beaucoup de randonnées à faire. Le lac Pavin est tout près. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, bon accueil. Le gite est très bien équipé, spacieux, conforme à la description. Je mettrai un petit bémol comme d'autres personnes avant nous : attention, les charges ne sont pas comprises (électricité) et ce n'est pas mentionné dans l'annonce Abritel. C'est noté seulement sur le contrat qu'on reçoit .. une fois qu'on a versé l'acompte sur le site ... Comptez environ 50 euros la semaine pour 2 personnes en hiver. En période de Covid, ménage obligatoire facturé 50 euros à prévoir également.

Endroit idéal pour les randonneurs

Endroit idéal pour les randonneurs

Le logement est idéalement placé au fond d'une route en sens interdit réservée aux riverains. Cette maison (attenante à celle des propriétaires qui vivent à l'étage) est très bien agencée, bien décorée et très fonctionnelle. La literie est bonne (ça change de certains endroits). Il est tout équipé avec un petit lave-vaisselle. Les propriétaires sont d'une gentillesse remarquable, ils feront tout pour faciliter votre séjour. Le logement est entouré de petits cours d'eau. Juste derrière la maison il y a un chemin qui est le départ de nombreuses randonnées que nous avons testées (exemple : le Lac Pavin). Le centre ville historique se trouve à 10 min à pieds, il y a un Auchan pour les courses (très fréquenté le samedi). Le logement offre jusqu'à 6 couchage, une petite terrasse pour manger au calme et une grande devanture gazonnée et clôturée. Il y a le WIFI fourni par le propriétaire et la 4g passe bien. C'est une location que je recommande et le prix est très raisonnable.

Location très bien située avec tout confort, en début de GR pour superbes ballades (rando ou VTT). Station de ski Superbesse à 10mns en voiture. Au calme avec le très beau village de Besse à 5mns à pied . Vraiment une très belle région que nous ne connaissions pas ,on reviendra certainement. Les propriétaires sont très agréables et discrets et semblent très impliqués dans leur région. Petit bémol les charges devraient être comprises dans le prix de la location.

Nous étions attendus. La visite du gite a été très conviviale. Il est très clair, spacieux, fonctionnel, sobre mais chaleureux. Les commentaires et recommandations appuyés par les différents classeurs (visites restaurants randonnées balades ) nous ont donnés envie de profiter de cette belle région même sans la neige et malgré le mauvais temps. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'ouverture sur la nature avec la proximité de la Chapelle et du chemin qui mène à la Fontaine Goyon. Nous avons pu échanger sur nos passions communes ou non . Nous recommandons le gite , proche de Besse (nous y allions à pied). Nous espérons y retourner car nous nous y sentions biens. Les propriétaires sont charmants et leur connaissance ont aiguisé notre envie d'y revenir. Merci.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine malgré une météo maussade. Les propriétaires sont des gens charmants qui nous ont guidés dans nos excursions, nous ont conseillé les commerçants et nous n'avons qu'à nous en féliciter. Quant au gîte il est conforme au descriptif de l'annonce. Très propre et fonctionnel. Besse est un village médiéval qui mérite d'être visité. Diese s Objekt liegt sehr schön am Rande von Besse. In einem kleinen Tal direkt an einem kleinen Gebirgsbach weiden nicht weit entfernt Kühe an eine wunderschönen Kapelle. Vor der Terasse hat man viel Platz im Freien. An der Wohnung selbst gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Die Lage von Besse ist genial für sportliche Aktivitäten wie Wandern, Jogging und Radfahren. Die Vermieter sind sehr aufgeschlossen, nett und naturverbunden.
