Excellent cottage for a peaceful break away

The location was excellent. Just what we wanted. It was lovely and clean and the fire was cozy. It had everything we needed.

Nothing really, but the bed was a little too small and soft for our personal taste.

A week in the Highlands

It had everything a home would have so felt right at home. It was very clean, had enough supplies for cleaning, rubbish, toiletries, towels, clothes washing etc.

There's nothing worth writing about, your customer service is amazing. We only regret not being able to stay longer

Lovely holiday cottage in Caithness.

Location is fantastic. Cottage is near a small coastal village and there are fantastics views across the cliffs and out to the sea. Cottage was very clean and well equipped.

The double bed was a bit short for my partner who is 6ft.which made for less comfortable nights for him.

Exceptional

It was a home away from home, it had everything you would need and then things you thought you would not need but needed. Honestly one of the best cottages we have stayed in. The views were amazing even on the misty days.

Stunning location, great kitchen and sitting area. Conservatory great for watching the sunset. Well-equipped kitchen.

Unbelievably beautiful cottage in incredible surroundings.

The cottage was absolutely amazing. Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, well equipped and with simply stunning views. Everything needed was supplied and more. Decor and furnishings beautiful with a lovely conservatory/sun trap. Really enjoyed our stay here. Excellent value- would highly recommend.

Lovely cosy cottage. Just what we needed to explore the area. Very peaceful and stunning views. Would happily return if we needed somewhere to stay.

The bed was a little uncomfortable and a kids highchair would have been helpful, we did have to bring our own. Other than that, highly recommended.

A really great place to stay

The cottages was lovely sofas very comfortable and great kitchen loved the wood burner Quite a lot to do out doors whaligoe steps we did them was great experience, and tinkers cave lots of castles

Outstanding cottage, location and value.

The location was great, nice and peaceful, and quiet. Facilities and equipment in the Cottage were really good, quality items all round. Caretaker support was not needed but the caretaker was available at all times. Nearby hotels and farms were great for meals and John o' Groats was not far away at all. Very highly recommended and will look to stay again.

Pretty much nothing. A fold away child chair for infants may help those with young families but to be honest, there was nothing not to like here.

Exceptional

The cottage is very comfortable and pleasant to spend time in. We like the conservatory which has good views to the South West.there are many interesting local walks near the coast and inland. Excellent location to visit the exceptional archaeological sites of Caithness.

The bedrooms are small. The double mattress is nearing the end of its life.

A Pot of Gold

I felt very safe and secure inside the property, even when the wind was blowing a gale outside. The equipment, space, covid19 safety, heating, water was excellent. I loved the decor in the bathroom and the semi-circular driveway in and out of the property. The single track road to the property was in excellent condition and only a short drive from the A9. The property was in a very quiet location, with only a few other houses near but had wonderful views over Lybster and the mountains beyond- especially at sunset. I used the property as a base to explore Caithness and would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

Rust en privacy

Het huisje bied een uitmuntende privacy en rust. Het bied uitzicht op de zee. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Fijn gebruik kunnen maken van de wasmachine en de droger.

De locatie is vergeleken met de rest van Schotland wat minder toeristisch. Dichtbij is er weinig te doen. Winkels zijn relatief ver weg. De natuur is mooi, maar niet zo ruig als aan de westkust. Het tweepersoonsbed moest even wennen. Voor grote mensen is het wat smal en kort, en het matras was wat aan de zachte kant.
