We loved the location, the relaxed vibe, the breakfast, the friendly staff, the ease of arrival.
The room was clean and sufficient, but see below for the temperature and smell.
Staff gave us advice on where to eat late in a Sunday evening which was helpful.
We didn't like the smell in the building (drains/cabbage) and that we couldn't open our windows overnight. It was very very warm and made sleeping tricky. Other rooms had windows that could be left open overnight but not ours.

Comfy beds, big area, lots of showers & toilets so you don't need to wait around & rooms were warm.
Only one plug socket that would only work if the lights were turned on & no curtains on the beds

A nice hostel set-up with outdoor space and table tennis tables (that are free to play) and the staff were really helpful and nice. We left an item behind by mistake and they contacted us to check if we needed it. They have sheltered bike locks which is always good. It's not too far from the hub of Brugges and a pleasant walk. Plenty parking.
The rooms are quite basic but it is a hostel! The breakfast options too were quite limited. It's a tad expensive for what you get when compared to a hotel.
