Bamon and his team are super sweet and always available for a chat or support. the food is great! try bamon's homemade yogurt and granola ❤️ Rooms are very clean and cute and big. The bathroom is big and extraordinarily bright. I even had my own cat 😂 waiting on the terrace every day. beach and restaurants closeby, also a good diving school (flip-flop divers)

the location is very central with all advantages - and of course close to the main road. so if you are super sensitive to sound I recommend booking one of the rooms in the backyard / more distant to the street.

Lovely private lodges with balcony

Great staff but strange shower placement

Number one was the staff. All staff was super friendly and they always remembered us. The area round the property was always being taken care of and being made nice. We asked for an extra towel (more on that later) and one time the soap went out and no problem and reacted quickly. The room and bathroom was spacious. Although i did not notice that the place was without AC the fan in the room was big and powerful and not loud at all. Overall I could recommend this place.

The pillows were a bit thick and stiff, we could have probably asked for a replacement but didn’t. The bathroom layout was quite strange with the shower in the middle of the bathroom and water went everywhere when taking a shower and that is why we asked for another towel, to mop up the floors after taking a shower. This was quite inconvenient, also because we could never fully dry the floors with the towel. The bathroom is very spacious so it could be very cheaply and easily changed to minimize this problem without changing plumbing.

Nice and cozy place

The tree house is very cute, welcoming, clean and close to the beach. The staff is attentive and helpful, very nice and friendly.

With only 1 fan, the tree house would get very hot after 10 am - I was out all day, but at night it was quite hot when I got back - however, the place was still a great experience - there even is a welcoming neighboring cat, who stood guard on the balcony for me all night 🙂

Great stay

Great stay! Very friendly staff! I stayed 2 extra nights. Location is perfect too! No AC, but a very good fan.

Nothing! Just make sure you seal all your stuff. There are a lot of ants. I forgot one bag of snacks in my backpack and they had a buffet with it haha.

Worst experience to date, impossible to sleep

The coffee shop is cute but everything is overpriced (an oat late is 150 TBH compared to 100 everywhere else in the island).

The room is right next to an 8-lane road that crosses the west side of the island. It is SO NOISY it is impossible to sleep. You are constantly jolt back awake by every speeding motorcycle or car that drives past. I didn't get ANY sleep despite putting on noise cancelling airpods and taking sleep medication. On the second day I asked for a room change early in the morning. Not only the venue did not get back to me on time, they also wanted to me pay in full for the second night i wouldnt be using. I ended up finding another place beachfront with a swimming pool for the same price of their AC rooms just around the cornet. Definitely shop around as there are much better value options nearby.

Lovely cabin and great host!

Lovely quiet area and well situated for the beach, restaurants and local stores all within walking distance. Host was very kind and helpful, even gave us some help with translation when we left an item at a previous hotel. Couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming and proactive host.

Beautiful but not the most comfortable

Great location. Beautiful looking room with great views. Staff were helpful, letting us leave our bag and assisting finding a scooter.

I think the photos/ expectation disappointed when we got there. The place was very beautiful with lots of potential but not well looked after. Rooms were a little run down, water went off various times during our 3 night stay, no aircon and the fan wasn’t the best so we were absolutely boiling and uncomfortable in the night. The look of the property, with the treehouse feel, has so much potential but I think needs more investment to be better.

Good for the price

Very friendly and good English speaking owner, nice wooden floors, it's nice that the bungalow is on the poles, spacious room, nice balcony with quite green view, good shower stream and hot/cold regulator, OK beach nearby, rooms are in good distance from each other, good for 20 EUR/night.

No chairs or hammocks to sit on the balcony, so we brought ones from inside. The yard around is messy and not as flourishing and green as you could expect. Very hard bed, no shampoo or shower gel. The place from the street looks like in the middle of demolition the proccess (we owner explained that the street is being widened so they destroyed his coffee shop, which is really sad, but also makes you fell that you are going inside some kind of demolished yard). When you pass it, it gets way nicer, because there's a garden, but no grass or small plants, just separated big plants, so in between you see dry gray soil. There's chicken and roosters everywhere and they are super loud, especially from around 4 in the morning. In the evenings until midnight or so, it gets quite noisy around. Bad ventilation in the bathroom. The area around the place on the main street is under construction (or at least it looks like that). I think, not the best area to stay in Lanta.

Cool Bungalows

Really big and cool room with loads of space, a fridge and a mosquito net! Ideal location, loads of cool places to eat nearby and great beaches that you can get to on foot. Bamon was exceptional: he is only a phone call or text away, and made sure I had everything I needed. He couldn't meet me the day I checked in (very late) so he was there the next day to see if I was ok. Made me feel really welcome!

The fan was not always enough and the room did get really hot. Quite a few ants on the walls in the bathroom but that can happen in a bungalow!

great location!

the location can’t be beat!! it’s in the middle of everything we wanted to do, and it’s quiet at night so you can sleep. there are a few local cats that are super sweet and friendly too, which is always a bonus for me. the bed was comfortable and we were able to enjoy the balcony with coils and a few mosquito bites.

everything in koh Lanta is under construction. including this property. the cafe and coffee shop were closed while we were there, and there wasn’t any yoga either (the instructor and owner was away). this was a bit disappointing and I wish we would have known before we booked.

Best budget stay I’ve found in a while!

Incredible delicious home made food! The staff is so lovely and helpful. Rooms are cute and had a mini fridge! Super great place to visit and stay! The homemade beetroot hummus was addictive and their handmade ice cream and cones are the best and he even made a dairy free sorbet! Sweet kitty cats everywhere too! I loved my stay here!

Wir waren enttäuscht.

Die Bilder entsprechen nicht der Realität. Die Hütten stehen sehr eng aneinander und sind extrem dunkel. Daa einzige Fenster hat kein Insektengitter deshalb kann man es nicht öffnen und die heiße Luft steht im Raum. Das Moskitonetz sieht sehr staubig aus. Bei der Übergabe wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, daß es nicht jeden Tag Handtücher gibt und auch kein Trinkwasser ( nur am ersten Tag) Überall im Bad gibt es Ameisen. Für die Bungalows gibt es keine security. . Nachdem das Café geschlossen ist, ist niemand zuständig. Die Anlage ist von 3 Seiten offen zugänglich. Der Strand ist nicht so nah, wie beschrieben. Der Besitzer hat hauptsächlich Interesse für das Café. Der Preis in der Hochsaison ist überzogen.

Séjour très agréable et excellent coffee shop !

Absolument tout ! Le gérant nous a accueilli chaleureusement, a pris le temps de nous faire un petit brief avec toutes les infos nécessaires. Il est toujours disponible et souriant. Le coffre shop ensuite est EXCEPTIONNEL. Tout est délicieux, et le service est parfait. La chambre était spacieuse et pratique, et à 2 pas d'une plage magnifique. Pour la rejoindre, nous devons emprunter un petit chemin bordé par des hôtels, c'est très joli. Dans la chambre, j'ai beaucoup apprécié trouver un petit book avec l'histoire de l'île et les points d'intérêts principaux.

On peut entendre la circulation, mais rien qui empêche de dormir.

Un logement convenable

Le personnel est adorable et ils sont d’une grande gentillesse qui vous met de bonne humeur dès le matin. Le logement se situe à 5 minutes à pied d’une belle plage. Petit bémol qui était une odeur très désagréable dans le logement au niveau de la salle de bain.

Mérite mieux que 7 mais le bruit la nuit insupportable

Personnel exceptionnel, meilleur accueil de la Thaïlande. Très gentil, le patron parle très bien français, c’est génial et ça fais du bien. L’emplacement est bien, proche de la plage et des commodités. La chambre est correcte, propre et spacieuse

Attention au bruit, l’hôtel est en bord de la route principale et la vie en Thaïlande et les touristes ne s’arrêtent pas la nuit… énormément de bruits surtout en ayant le bungalow (comme nous) le plus proche de la route… nous n’avons pas dormi pdt 4 nuits… et c’est tellement dommage car l’hôtel mérite mieux que 7 mais le bruit la nuit c’est impossible si tu es en voyage et que tu cherches juste à dormir la nuit… pas de Clim dans le bungalow on le savait mais c’est essentiel il a fait vraiment trop chaud…

le propriétaire est un homme super sympa et gentil, l’emplacement est bien (7 eleven - restos - plage ...) bungallow super cosy relaxant intime

propreté .. les méticuleux passez votre chemin .. des taches sur les murs un peu par tout ds la chambre Banana (tete de lit - et different murs ..) a besoin d’être rafraîchis lit un peu ferme mais ca passe bruits de la rue principale, sur tout les camionnettes avec hauts parleur et les motos ..
