Nice stay

Breakfast was really good, everything is new and clean.

There could be some soap to use in the shower. There could be window blinds or better courtains in the windows to avoid light and give privacy.

Lovely place

An absolutely lovely hotel, comfortable beds, nice view of the vineyards, dog friendly, very clean and serves excellent wines. The breakfast buffet was good, with multiple options. We really enjoyed a short weekend getaway at Weingut Gehlen-Cornelius and will definitely come back one day.

Overall the hotel was very basic so it felt rather overpriced. They serve excellent grape juice and wine but the price is the same for drinking it at the hotel and taking it home, we felt it could have been a little cheaper if you buy in bulk.

At breakfast it would have been nice to see a smile on the face of the kitchen staff. Breakfast can use more variation during the week.

Lovely stay in a beautiful modern property

Lovely modern and spacious accommodation. Very nice room with excellent bathroom, all in perfect condition and possibly recently built. Very friendly and helpful staff, some of whom speak excellent English. Excellent breakfast choice. This is a wine producer's property and their high quality wines are available for tasting and purchase 24 hours a day. Situated at the top of the village of Brauneberg, you can walk directly from the property into beautiful vineyard areas. The public areas feel newly designed and there is plenty of outdoor seating too which we used as the weather was excellent.

The indoor lounge area could do with a little more interior design - to make it more cosy at night-time ! Perhaps some low lighting... But this is a minor observation, in general it is very pleasant.

Friendly staffs. Nice clean rooms with good space. Wonderful location if you love wines. Breakfast is great. Very quiet surroundings. You can do wine tasting and rent bikes at the hotel.

Quite expensive for what you get, but I guess this applies to all hotels during festival seasons.

Perfect location for a quiet yet modern hotel with all facilities offering really good local wine.

Wonderful location in the midst of the vignards, great breakfast + room. Lovely family running the place. Their wines are good value for money and ample opportunity to sample. The rooms and hotel is relatively modern which makes it for us the no 1 place to go in comparison to so many old stuffy traditional places in the area. Its also well located for visiting some other well establised wineries in the area. It is sooooo quiet here, you hear absolutely nothing at night....

Exceptional

Lovely, peaceful, rural location in the middle of the vineyards with great views. Bernkastel is nearby and is easily accessible by car or bus. The hotel is modern, well-organised and the staff provide a helpful, relaxed and friendly service.

I brought my own fan and thank goodness . no AC and 90 + degrees the rooms facing afternoon sun need Ac or at least fans in rooms. parking was problematic at night..had to park down the street in front of residential property.

Near perfect stay with great wines

Staff were amazing! Super nice and helpful. Everything was very clean. Great wines available for tasting. Breakfast was next level. This place would be a 10 out of 10 (if there was an aircon in the room)

No Aircon! Granted, when we stayed at the Weingut it was during the middle of a heatwave, and probably most of the time you wouldn't need one and just open the window to regulate the temperature. Unfortunately, it was over 30 degrees outside and there was no way to cool down the room so we couldn't really sleep much... But apart from that it was great...

Lovely Appartement in Brauneberg.

Big appartement with a good bathroom. The Beds were really comfortable. Very peacefull environment to come to rest. The host's were very friendly.

Competent and friendly personnel. Spacious room and big bathroom in nicely modern style and with great level of equipment and enough light. Water supply good and reliable. Beds comfortable. Very clean. Quiet night.

Breakfast selection good, quality of food and drinks have some room for improvement. Breakfast room convenient but because of dimensions and style quite noisy. One can feel the 'business' approach in all aspects - acceptable of course but a bit too much for my taste. The finish: No acceptance of credit cards! Not good at all - sorry.

A wonderful Mosel experience

Great time in Brauneberg

The property is immaculately clean and our room was very spacious with a balcony and view of the vineyards. The common areas are also very inviting, although we didn’t use them due to the weather. The hotel also has a very nice honor system for self-service wine/drinks - there are basically fridges full of bottles in the lobby and you tally what you take and pay at checkout. Good breakfast. Would definitely book again!

Super schöne Lage mit Blick auf die Weinberge! Sehr sehr freundliches Personal mit wertvollen Tips zu Aktivitäten, Restaurants, Wanderungen und vieles mehr! Haben uns super wohl gefühlt! Sehr leckeres umfangreiches Frühstück und Auch der Hund wurde sehr gut aufgenommen, es gab keinerlei Probleme 🙏🏼 Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Im Badezimmer hätte ich mir Badeaccessoires wie eis Feile oder Wattestäbchen gewünscht. Und ein bisschen Farbe damit nicht alles weiss und clean wirkt.

Es fehlte uns an nichts!

Sehr freundlich und vor allem sehr hundefreundliche Unterkunft! Wir hatten ein Appartement unter dem Dach - geräumig, hell und sauber! Mit kleiner Küche - ausreichend um Tee und Kaffee zu kochen - für mehr haben wir es nicht genutzt! Die Restaurants der Umgebung sind zu verlockend! Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und lecker! Es wird während der Frühstückszeit immer nachgelegt, wenn etwas fehlt! Das frisch gebackene Brot - mehrere Sorten - ist der Hammer! Ebenso die Brotaufstriche! Einzig bei den Marmeladen ist noch Luft nach oben…. An der Rezeption gibt es Weinkühlschränke mit den Weinen des Weinguts zu sehr fairen Preisen! Auch die Lage am Ortsrand ist sehr schön mit Blick über das Tal und die Weinberge! Man ist zu Fuss schnell im Ort, kann Wanderungen direkt dort starten oder auch mit kurzer Distanz die Startpunkte anfahren! Die Einführung und Informationen durch die Chefin bei der Ankunft sind sehr ausführlich und hilfreich! Lademöglichkeit für E-Autos ist gegeben, ebenso Unterstellplätze für Fahrräder! Es waren sehr schöne Tage - gerne wieder!

Schöne Unterkunft direkt am Weinberg!

Schöner Ort mit gemütlichem Vibe. Man kann Wein vom Gut kaufen und schläft direkt beim Weinberg. Sehr gutes & umfangreiches Frühstück in einem schönem Saal ist ebenfalls dabei. Auch die Lage ist gut um in der Nähe zu wandern oder um mit dem Auto Tagesausflüge zu unternehmen. Insgesamt war es sehr ein erfreulicher Zufallsfund für uns mit gutem Preis-/Leistungs-Verhältnis. Gerne wieder!

Wir kommen wieder!

Eine wunderschöne Lage mitten in den Weinbergen - wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet - ganz frisches Brot und hauseigene Traubensäfte und vielerlei Beilagen. Wanderungen in den Weinbergen dirket vor der Tür und Radtouren an der Mosel sind in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Freundliche und hilfsbereite Chefin!

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Wochenende im Weingut Gehlen- Cornelius. Wir hatten die Nr. 14. Wir waren ganz begeistert vom Zimmer, der Sauberkeit und dem Frühstück. Der Empfang war sehr nett. All unsere Fragen wurden super nett beantwortet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
