Great apartment for a short term stay

Prime location in the heart of peaceful and family friendly Seefeld, within reasonable walking distance to the Lake and just a few tram stops to the Stadelhofen (Central) train station and the Zurich HB. The 1-bedroom apartment was a good size for our family of 2 adults and a 9yo for a week in Zurich. The fully equipped kitchen was great for cooking meals and we slept well. Overall, we had a good experience and will gladly recommend the Apartment.

Due to some ongoing construction work in the adjacent building during our stay (we were informed in advance), we had to request for an apartment change. However, this was addressed promptly by the EMA team and we were well settled in the replacement apartment. Housekeeping was a little patchy during our one-week stay (eg. missing 3rd person towels). Laundry detergent was not complimentary after the first day and had to be requested for purchase.

A lovely apartment in a pleasant part of the city

Rebecca was waiting for us when we arrived. She was pleasant and friendly and clearly explained everything we needed to know. The apartment was well presented with all the amenities one would need. It is in a very pleasant residential area just minutes walking to the lake. There are lots of shops and restaurants to choose from in the immediate area and good public transport into the centre ( 10-15 minutes depending on which area) There was building work close by but we had been warned of this well in advance and it didn’t impinge on our stay.

inflexible. Even though we said our family of 2 adults 2 kids could fit in 1 apartment, they insisted the apartment can only take 3 and forced us to take another apartment.

There was a lovely lady waiting for us to give us the key cards and show us around and how the facility works. We arrived a little earlier than expected but with one phone call that was no problem. She was very friendly and after arriving on such a cold day for us, it was lovely and warm.

Such a small problem, but I love having a coffee in the morning when i wake up but found the machine a little temperamental to work.

The apartment was located ideally for us and well presented. But too many e-mails from host

We were met at the property and shown up to the apartment, use of certain items were also explained and additional information around contact with the hosts during the stay were provided, and we found them very responsive to our queries and requested during the stay. The apartment was well presented and very clean. The location was excellent many eating places near by and a short 3 minute walk to tram connections or a good 10 minute walk to the Old Town and 15 minutes from the lake boats and river taxi. It was in a very quite location but you felt very safe with many locals living close within the same location.

Having confirmed an approximate arrival time the number of e-mails in the week prior to arrival was in my opinion excessive, especially as we were traveling and staying in the Alps without internet at times. Then finding when we did connect we had a number of e-mails asking us to confirm what had already been given. Some of this was also an issue with Booking.com as it sent for some reason two copies of each notification from the host each time? The difficulty is no one is permanently on site to meet and greet and subsequently only come to the property when you are due to arrive. I have no issue with this but trying to pin you down to a specific time when traveling is off putting when you are being constantly asked about your arrival.

Perfect

1 bed apartment was very good.. Very good location, close to public transport - tram and train station. Short walk to centre of town and Lake Zurich. Bonus to have washing machine/dryer. Cleaners very attentive. Happy to stay again.

Comfortable apartment, very clean with good access into the city.

Cleanliness in general was good, and kitchen facilities excellent. Safe deposit box in the apartment, although this was not needed as the area is very safe with a very good feel about it. Location is good, close to the lake and tram stop into the city.

There’s a surcharge of CHF 50.00 for every 30 minutes delay in meeting the host to check-in. Wow. Bathroom window should be frosted, because the curtain doesn’t fully cover the window looking directly into the shower.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone, when we met to get keys pail ( our contact ) was incredible, so friendly, accommodating and professional. The place was spotlessly clean with every modern convenience you could need, very comfy and in an excellent location. All round , great experience.

I had a fantastic stay at eMA Services Apartments in Seefeld, Zurich. The service team was extremely responsive and always quick to help with any questions, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. The apartment itself was modern, clean, and very well equipped with all the facilities you’d need for both short and longer stays. The location is excellent—right in Seefeld, close to the lake, cafes, and public transport, yet still quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Zurich!

Perfect stay, perfect location, serious people

We stayed for 5 nights during the beginning of august. We were a family of 4 people and booked two apartments with one bedroom each. The arrival was very smooth. People from EMA contacts you a few days before arrival and they come and meet you at the apartment at the time arranged. In our case, we arrived before expected and they managed to meet and greet us before, always conected by mail/phone with the staff of the company to make sure everything worked fine. The apartments are located in Seefeld, which must be the one of the best neighborhoods in Zurich. Just 10 minutes walking to the city center, along the lake. The neighborhood is clean, exclusive and easy to walk around, just a few steps from the lake, where you can find restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The apartments have everything you may need to be comfortable. In brief, I would definately recomend this place if you come to Zurich and want to be near the city centre but with a sense of exclusivity and calm.

Definitely would stay here again.

Very clean. The penthouse apartment was very spacious, clean and had AC. Gray location. Close to the lake, the tram and a small grocery store. Quiet neighborhood.

My only complaint was the curtains were shear so it got light in the bedroom very early, like 530, when the sun came up. Also, didn’t feel they offered any privacy as they were see though.

The pillows were substandard and thin. Recommend two pillows per person. Left there with neck pain. Would like more coffee pods. Wish the cleaning people didn’t knock on the door at 8am. They need a comeback later sign not just “no service” sign.

Fantastic apartment in a terrific location.

Very comfortable and well equipped apartment in a great location, just a short walk to the lake and to the old town and in a lovely vibrant but relaxing neighbourhood. Irene met us on arrival and took care of the check in for us. It was lovely to receive a bottle of prosecco for my birthday - thank you!

Comfortable apartment in good and quite location, near the lake, we had two balconies with street view (possible also to see the lake) and inner garden view. Good kitchen equipment. Really enjoyed the selection of organic and tasty teas. Great customer service, with convienent guest application. Really enjoyed our stay.

Spacious and quiet studio

The room was clean, spacious and has everything. It’s also close to bus stop and subway station, taking you to Zurich HB in 10 mins. Staff here was really responsive.

Zürich was quite hot during my stay and the apartment didn’t have AC. But I managed to get the room cooler by opening the window.

Property needs better management

The location is pretty close to old town and property is located in a quiet residential area, there is also a Coop nearby to grab meals.

1) The aircon wasn’t cooling the room as the aircon is very small and not appropriate for a big apartment. I was constantly sweating even with the aircon on. I had consciously booked an aircon room as I cannot keep curtains/windows open as I’m sensitive to light and sounds. I followed up many times but didn’t get a solution. Asked for a fan but that never arrived. 2) Requested one hour late checkout on last day as I was down with fever and needed more time to pack but was refused stating ‘We are fully booked and the room needs to be cleaned.’ I checked out at 11.10 am and asked them to send cleaner to check the room. Got a reply at 11.45 that the cleaners are on break and they will check the room later. So they could have extended my checkout but they just didn’t care. Also their checkin time is 3 pm so I refuse to believe that the cleaner needs 4 hours to clean a room. 3) If you need to leave your luggage you need to travel far from the property to store it as they cannot store at the property for you. The property is great but I wish they could have managed it better and had more courteous staff.

It was very modern with all amenities including dishwasher & washing machine. There was a full bathroom plus another toilet, location was good . If one can walk the main attractions were within 3 kms , otherwise tram wad only 200 meters away . Grocery store & restaurant nearby, staff was very helpful, very close to the lake.

Very straightforward check-in process, super comfortable bed, great shower. The building was very quiet, and it was easy to walk everywhere in Zurich. The kitchen had everything I needed to make my own meals, and the large closet (including an iron + ironing board) was appreciated. I highly recommend this place for business travellers.

Fabulous stay at EMA House Serviced Apartments , Seefeld Zurich

Spacious, modern, bright and airy apartment. The apartment was well designed with plenty of cupboard space and the ability to open doors (to balcony) and windows. The pillows appeared bulky but flattened down a lot, probably too much. Bed was very comfortable. Modern appliances that worked well. The only things we thought might be useful were a small brush/broom that you could sweep crumbs up if needed. Also perhaps some literature that visitors might find useful for things to do in the area. We loved the apartment and would definitely return. Highly recommend.

Pillows flattened a little too much. A small broom would be handy.
