Comfortable as a place to stay, not just to sleep.

The apartment is very nice and has everything you need to feel comfortable. It’s not just a place to sleep while visiting the area, but also a place where you can feel at ease and spend time during the day to rest, work, etc. If what you’re looking for is to be close to the city centre, the location is great. The host, Desmond, was very friendly and willing to help.

Would have been ideal if the heating worked and the carpets were clean

The location was central and the apartment itself was huge and secure.

However, the heating worked only in the bedroom and nowhere else (living, kitchen, bathrooms). There was no central heating in the building either which meant that the whole apartment was freezing. Upon highlighting this on Friday, the host mentioned that they could only send a technician on Monday so we had to survive the freezing January weather on our own. Even on Monday, when the technician arrived, he informed us that the heating needed to be replaced. The property hosts later sent a portable heater which was too small to warm up the huge living room. The whole stay was uncomfortable due to the cold. On top of that, the bedroom carpet had so much dust gathered that it triggered my asthma. We could not open the windows for ventilation because of the lack of heating and the unclean carpets made the experience even more uncomfortable. Both heating and cleanliness were top concerns for us when booking so this was a disappointment.

The property was really clean, well maintained, and the location is very central close to all the main attractions in Coventry. The staff were very friendly too they welcomed us on check in and explained everything about the apartment in details.

Conservatively wonderful 👌

The in-house cleaner PAULA was excellent 👍 She took me through like a pro.

Parking was a very big issue as it was a separate fee from the accommodation. Making parking complimentary would have made my stay more enjoyable and comfortable.

Fair overall mostly due to the building

Convenient location, fairly clean, helpful and responsive staff.

Extreme bad smell from the corridor had to change the pillowcase as I felt uncomfortable. Fire alarm on Saturday early morning. Recrational drug usage in the building at an extreme level which added on to the existing unbearable smell in the corridor my apartment located Risk of stuck in the elevator, I didn’t use it for 3 days as it was didn’t feel safe. I was right as it was out of order at some point completely.

Everything was very good. Proximity to city centre and shops. Neat apartment, quiet and family friendly.

It would have been excellent if there was fan or air conditioner for the warm days. The heat wouldn't let us sleep most nights.

A wonderful stay

We were met on arrival and guided to our parking spot in the basement car park. Then everything was explained about the keys and codes for accessing the apartment. This made settling in very quick and easy. The location of the apartment is nestled between the motor museum and the cathedral, both of which really must be visited to find out about the significant history of the city. The penthouse apartment was very spacious with two bathrooms and a huge balcony overlooking the cathedral. Coventry Home really made our stay in Coventry a wonderful experience. We had great contact on the arrival day and throughout our stay which was really helpful. Thank you.

I did not stay in this apartment despite traveling for 2 days straight and very tired, I couldn’t not bring myself to ly

There is nothing good about the apartment

The Beddings were worn out and looking dirty and the apartment didn’t smell great to put it mildly, the towels look really bad, I eventually didn’t stay because of the state of the apartment. I’m still struggling to get a refund

We had a fantastic stay and certainly consider staying here again on our next visit to Coventry.

The check-in instructions were simple and clear. We were able to collect the keys from the box easily. The apartment was spacious and had all possible amenities a family would require for a short stay. Location was ideal ... right next to the University, close to plenty of restaurants - Nandos, McDonalds, KFC, Greggs, etc. Sainsburys is a 3 minute walk and bus station is very close by. The town centre is a 5 minute walk with plenty of shopping and dining options. You can't beat the location of this apartment. Very convenient and we would highly recommend it for families visiting Coventry to drop off or visiting their children at the University.

The shower cubicle in the master bedroom is a tight squeeze if you are a tall person.

The stay was comfortable and located in a prime location with food options and accessible transport.

The room was spacious and accommodated 4 people comfortably. The sofa and living room were comfortable for everyone. The kitchen had all the essentials needed for cooking a small meal and breakfast.

The guide to tap the key for opening the door could have been more clearly mentioned as I had a problem checking in and had to give a call to sort it out.

Poor

The host was really nice and helpful and when I had to change the apartment, they organized taking my luggage to the new place. There was a nice bouqet of flowers left in the new place, which was a nice touch. It is indeed close to the city center and the apartment is enormous.

The location is actually pretty uncomfortable, especially for a solo woman traveler. When I was leaving the apartment there was a drunk man in front of the apartment in the building's corridor yelling at me and leaving me absolutely terrified. Every night I did not feel safe entering the building and the building is not very well kept. At first, I was given the apartment which had a full garbage bin, horrible smell of the fridge and actually was not at all the apartment you can see in the picture, plus the heating was not working. I complained and I got transferred into a new apartment the next day, but this was still a horrible nuisance and stress. The apartment (the place where I stayed for the rest of my stay) is very cold and the heating is not sufficient but they scare you that if you go over a certain amount of heating usage you will be made to pay additionally - I have never ever been told that I will have to pay for electricity and especially this information being shared only once you arrive. The furniture is very old, the working space not really good and the bed not really comfortable, plus the hygiene of the apartment could definitely be better. I did not feel well to use kitchen appliance as they were all sticky and dirty. For such a high price, this is definitely not a satisfactory apartment - then again I am aware of the ridiculous housing prices in the UK. So lovely people, but really many improvements could be made for this price.

Great cozy place

This is a cozy place. We booked one room flat but we ended up with two rooms. Services are provided quickly and nicely.

The internet really sucked. Also the lift was broken during our stay so we have to carry a lot of luggages by hand.

Great place to know Coventry

Magnificent place, modern, clean, and with a spectacular view of Coventry's Cathedral. The staff (Eva) was very kind and always was available to help us if we could need something. The location is great too, in front of Pool Meadow Bus Station, where you can get buses to every West Midland's city. Absolutely recommendable!

Maybe they could clean the deck more often but nothing special with that.

A lovely apartment, just in the back to a supermarket, and surrounded of restaurants… Normally I don’t cook, but at this apartment I could not resist: all the amenities was there… it was tidy… really loved everything you n this apartment! Highly recommend!!

Surprisingly, the place was very secure, nice, clean and the kitchen was well equipped, so after all it was a good experience!

The photos and address at booking.com are not the actual location of the facility, which is located in a different area that I had to call several times to reach it. It is not in the city centre, maybe 5 to 7 minutes walk from the city centre.
