The perfect place to relax in the peaceful mountains while still enjoying comfort!

The house is spotlessly clean and filled with historical details and works of art creating a truly special atmosphere. You can immediately feel that everything was done with great care and love. The owner Sabine is wonderfully welcoming and warm-hearted, she gave us lots of helpful tips for our trips. We truly felt cared fore. We hope to come back to this wonderful place again and again! The kitchen is equipped with everything you may need (+very beautiful tableware). We had a luxurious modern shower and comfortable pillows. A very quiet neighborhood - peaceful and serene. And of course I have to mention the sweetest cat in the world, we became such good friends during our stay!

our deal did not include breakfast, but we still got a cake when we arrived, some fresh eggs for breakfast, and a couple of meals when we were around at meal times. The house was charming, very old but well kept, plenty of pieces of art scattered around the house. The Kitchen had everything we needed and more. The house was always warm, even with the cold temperatures outside. The beds very comfortable. Our dog was feeling completely at home, and the cat in the house was sweet and wise enough to stay away from our dog. We went skiing and the drive was short, around 20 mins to get to the lifts. The bathrooms were a piece of art on their own, with a fantastic shower. Sabine also was very kind and indicated the way to the best walks in the mountains. Local maps were provided. There is also an excellent restaurant just around the corner.

Charming, comfortable, best location!

An absolutely peaceful area, immediately on the hiking path for the mountains so no extra parking required. There is a cat on the premises but he doesn't go into guest rooms and the place is very clean (we love cats so it was nice to meet him). The owner made all the art in and around the house and has an incredible story if you get the chance to chat. Do be sure to buy one of her amazing tea blends, I'm so happy I found a green tea variety that is so lovely. The home is also around the corner from a delicious restaurant that has been operating since the 1100's. I am absolutely going to stay here again, because waking up the a cloud capped mountain in my window in a tall plus bed was everything I needed. She gives discount cards and great tips on things to do. We did the one of the local gondola rides up to the top of a mountain and toured the Chiemsee islands as well, all very easy to access.

Be sure to check before you book about which room/bathroom you get if you have specific bathroom needs. We had the larger room but our bathroom was on the floor below. The smaller room has access to a bathroom directly across the hall. Was no problem for us.

Herzliche Vermieterin eines besonderen Ferienhauses.

Wir hatten mit unseren Kindern einen schönen Aufenthalt im Künstlerhaus. Unsere Ferienwohnung hatte zwei getrennte Schlafzimmer; unseres war mit Bett, Schrank, Kamin und einer Sitzecke mit TV ausgestattet. Das kleine Zimmer war mit Bett, Schrank und einer Kommode ausgestattet. Die Schlafzimmer sind im 1.OG, während sich das Badezimmer und die gemeinsam mit der Vermieterin genutzte Küche im EG befindet. Das Badezimmer liegt direkt gegenüber der Küche der zweiten Ferienwohnung. Im Badezimmer befindet sich auch Waschmaschine und Trockner der Vermieterin, d.h. es wird auch gelegentlich durch sie genutzt. Die Küche ist groß, gemütlich und enthält sämtliche Ausstattung, sodass man sich gut selbst versorgen kann. Auch Kater Peppo fühlt sich in der Küche sehr wohl und läuft schonmal über den Esstisch ;-). Ein Parkplatz ist etwa 2 min fußläufig entfernt, wenn vor dem Haus kein Platz ist. Die gute Lage und Ausstattung des Hauses sowie die Herzlichkeit der Vermieterin sprechen auf jeden Fall für eine Buchung der Ferienwohnung.

Wenn man gern unter Menschen und tierlieb ist, ist die Ferienwohnung auf jeden Fall sehr zu empfehlen 😊.

Es ist nicht wie angegeben

Es war sauber.

Laut Buchung hätten wir eine Ferienwohnung gebucht. Tatsächlich waren es 2 Schlafzimmer, das Bad war aber nur vom allgemeinen Gang aus betretbar und von diesem Gang gingen auch die weiteren an andere vermieteten Zimmer ab. Man musste also sein Schlafzimmer über den allgemeinen Gang verlassen um ins Bad zu kommen.Die Küche war im Erdgeschoss und war nicht abschließbar. Eine Sitzecke gab es nicht, nur einen Tisch mit 5 Stühlen. Das ist einfach keine Ferienwohnung, sondern Zimmer mit externen Bad und Küchenbenutzung. Wenn wir das gewusst hätten, hätten wir es nicht gebucht, weil wir weder die Privatsphäre hatten, die wir wollen, noch es den Preis rechtfertigt. Zwar bekommt man eine Nachricht nach Buchung in der vermerkt ist, dass die Küche im Erdgeschoss ist, aber wirklich eindeutig wie es tatsächlich ist wird nicht deutlich und v.a. nicht die Thematik Bad. Verschlimmert wurde das Ganze, weil die Vermieterin ohne Anklopfen mehrfach in die Küche kam und einfach redete ohne zu fragen ob sie stört, einmal dann sogar unsere Lebensmittel rum geschoben hat. Nachdem wir dies angesprochen haben war es kurz besser, aber nicht anhaltend. Einmal war sie sogar im Bad und hat die Heizung runter gedreht, obwohl es im ganzen Haus ohnehin zu kalt war. Insgesamt war es leider nicht so wie wir uns einen Urlaub vorstellen.

Rundum zufrieden und 1000Punkte für die Gastfreundschaft

Man konnte 1000 Eindrücke sammeln in der sehr Kunst- und liebevoll eingerichteten Unterkunft. Das Haus steckt voller Wärme und Künstlerischer Details. Es ist überall im Haus sehr sauber. Die Gastwirtin Sabine hat uns mit Tipps Rat und Tat geholfen wo sie konnte. Eine sehr tolle, hilfsbereite und fürsorgliche Vermieterin ohne Aufdringlichkeit. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das besondere Haus jedem empfehlen der es behaglich, gemütlich und stilvoll mag.

EinzigARTiges, herzliches, entdeckungsreiches Hideaway: Zum Wohlfühlen und Ankommen.

Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt: Das Haus, so eine herzvolle Mischung aus längst vergangenen Zeiten und kunstvoll Neuem - mit Esprit und heimelig: Sabine ist eine herzliche, großzügige und kluge Gastgeberin: Ihre Ausflugstipps waren wunderbar und genau richtig für uns, jedwede Kommunikation von An- bis Abreise war immer unkompliziert - es war, als wäre man bei der Lieblingsfreundin zu Besuch! Ein Kleinod, dass ich nur wirklich guten Freunden empfehlen möchte, weil es zu schade wäre, wenn ich beim nächsten Besuch keine Zimmer bekäme, weil auf Jahre ausgebucht ;-)...

Wieder wegzufahren viel uns schwer ;-)...

Zuhause in den Bergen

Ich bin um 14 Uhr am Anreisetag angekommen und wurde von Sabine, der Hausbesitzerin, sehr nett empfangen. Nach einer kleinen Hausführung zeigte sie mir das wunderschöne Ostzimmer des Hauses im ersten Stock. Neben dem sehr schönen Zimmer ist das ganze Haus mit einer wundervolle Hingabe fürs Detail eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich gleich wie zuhause dort.

Das WLAN war etwas langsam aber durch die dicken Wände lässt sich das leider nicht verhindern :)

Ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen.

Frühstück in Eigenregie. Ein wirkliches Haus voller Kunst. Wunderschöner Garten, warme Atmosphäre. Rundum herrliche Häuser und vor allem Berge und Natur. Die Gastgeberin hat uns jeden Tag Tipps für Ausflüge und besondere Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben. Ein hochintelligenter Kater ;)

Hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen- einfach idyllisch

Rundum ein perfekter Aufenthalt für unseren spontanen Kurztrip (Familie mit 2 Kindern , 10 und 13 J., 3 Nächte) in einer landschaftlich tollen Gegend. Salzburg ist für einen Tagesausflug auch gut zu erreichen und eine traumhafte Stadt. Die Salzburgcard ist absolut empfehlenswert! Ansonsten ist man schnell am Chiemsee und man hat tolle Wandermöglichkeiten direkt vor Ort. Lohnenswert war auch noch der Abstecher Klobenstein/Entenkochklamm/Hängebrücken , und danach noch zum Einkaufen nach Kössen (Sennerei und Metzgerei), alles Tipps von Sabine. Man könnte in der Gegend noch so viel unternehmen, leider waren drei Nächte einfach zu kurz. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und besonders (im positiven Sinne). Die Kinder fanden vor allem die Hühner und den verschmusten Hauskater super. Sabine ist eine super freundliche Gastgeberin und tut alles dafür, dass ihre Gäste sich rundum wohlfühlen.

Ein besonderer Urlaub

Das Haus beeindruckte uns auf ganzer Linie - es wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail restauriert, und die Inneneinrichtung verknüpft traditionellen Charme mit modernen Akzenten. Diese Verschmelzung von Alt und Neu hat uns begeistert. Sabines Kunst passt hier ebenfalls wunderbar hinein. Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein: Nur wenige Minuten trennen das Haus von der idyllischen Tiroler Achen, während in der anderen Richtung die Burg Marquartstein und eine Vielzahl von Wanderwegen warten. Ein besonderes Highlight war die Gastgeberin Sabine. Durch ihre wertvollen Tipps für Wanderungen und Ausflüge hatten wir die Gelegenheit, die Region auf besondere Weise zu erleben. Zudem fühlten sich sowohl unsere Kinder als auch unser Hund herzlich willkommen - hier sind alle Familienmitglieder gern gesehene Gäste.
