About this villa rental
Villa Katerina is a luxury 3 bedroom villa with a large private pool, located in the picturesque village of Peyia. It is in a quiet location at the top of a cul de sac with 4 other villas. There is a field of carob trees backing on to the villa where goats can sometimes be seen.
Villa Katerina has 3 spacious bedrooms all with air conditioning (small extra charge) and ceiling fans. Upstairs is a double bedroom opening onto a large balcony with sunbeds and parasol overlooking the pool and a twin room overlooking the carob field. There is also a bathroom with shower/ bath.
Downstairs is a king size bedroom with its own bathroom giving greater privacy for couples sharing or anybody less abled. The living area is open plan with a large lounge/ dining area overlooking the pool and ample sun terracing. There are 3 suede sofas, dining table for 6, TV with Internet channels including the main English TV along with films etc & a selection of DVDs, Music system and a selection of books. Free internet.
The kitchen is very well equipped. A range of units with granite work surfaces, oven, hob, large fridge/ freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron & board, water cooler and everything you need to cook if you wish.
Outside is the star attraction, a larger than average deep pool. 10x5m. Roman steps into the shallow end and a ladder at the deep end. There is ample sun terracing with sunbeds & parasol along with a large pergola for shade during the midday sun. There is also an undercover patio area in which is a patio table and chairs seating 6 people. Perfect for alfresco dining. There is a BBQ at the rear of the villa.
We are perfectly situated to explore much of the surrounding area.
The famous Coral Bay resort is 2km away and the town of Paphos is just a 15 minutes drive as is Kato Paphos with its harbour and famous mosaics.
The traditional Cypriot village of Peyia with its tavernas, supermarkets, bakery, delicatessen, fruit market and butchers are within walking distance.
Coral Bay has some of the best blue flag beaches in Cyprus where you can swim in the safe shallow clear water. Here you will also find numerous restaurants and bars.
Just along the coast is the unspoilt Akamas nature reserve with miles of deserted beaches where turtles come to lay their eggs. We recommend a 4x4 to visit the Akamas.
There are many small beaches along the coast towards the Akamas where you can snorkel in the clear blue water or walk along the rugged coastline taking in the spectacular views, eat at some of the famous restaurants including the Last Casle ( Viklaris) and Oniros by the Sea overlooking the ship wreck.
We are also ideally situated to visit the Troodos mountains with beautiful monasteries, Tombs of the Kings, Polis, Lastsi and Aphrodites Birthplace.
Take a boat out to the Blue Lagoon for a memorable day out.
We can arrange car hire from a local company at very competitive rates along with taxi transfers to get your holiday off to a relaxing start.

Excellent villa with a great deep pool for swimming. The villa is equipped with everything you need although we never cooked and ate out in local restaurants. Owners were very helpful throughout the booking arranging airport transfer and car hire. Would definitely recommend

Wow! What can I say about our stay! The villa is ideally located in Peyia for restaurants and bars, even mini supermarkets. The villa itself is very spacious & extremely well equipped, and the pool is one of the largest ones in the area - it's over 6ft deep. Coral Bay strip is only a 5 minutes drive away for more bars and restaurants.The owners were extremely helpful and responded very quickly to any queries we had. The pool cleaner, Darryn, is friendly and advised us on places and restaurants to visit.Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to be return visitors to Karen & Dexter's villa.PS. We recommend Savvas Grill and Grand Restaurant & Bar for food in Peyia. Then there's Phidias Tavern in Coral Bay - the meat meze is gorgeous.

We had a fabulous holiday at Villa Katerina! And feel very lucky to have gotten away during such challenging times!
Contact with Karen the owner was easy and friendly from the outset and Karen was also very helpful when it came to suggesting things to do and organising car hire for us from a local company.
The villa is well laid out and spacious and the downstairs shower room is fabulous!
It has great outdoor space for sun bathing and the pool is prefect - really good size and great depth for diving (my son, not me!! 😂)
The water cooler in the kitchen is a great added bonus. The only extra thing that I would have liked in the kitchen would be a dish washer, but otherwise it’s very well equipped.
Karen also arranged a welcome pack for us which was much appreciated as we were arriving on a late flight.
The villa is located in a quiet residential area so you do really need a car if you want to get out and about, although there are cafes, bars and shops within walking distance as well.
A lovely villa and lovely owners - would happily stay here again on future visits to Cyprus.
