Tropea is a beautiful city with excellent restaurants and shops, and obviously the beaches are amazing. Be sure to make reservations for your cabanas in advance. The apartment could use some kitchenware updating and needed a Guest Welcome Guide. We had one weird thing happen upon check in. We were asked for 22 Euros cash for the "local tourism board". It was listed as a line item under Paid at property but to ask for cash was odd especially when it looked paid. We had friends at another VRBO who were not asked for this "tax".

con mia sorella e mio cognato abbiamo molto gradito il soggiorno in questo bellissimo e comodo appartamento. La location è centralissima, il palazzo e lappartamento pur risentendo degli anni, conservano un fascino particolare che ne fa apprezzare anche le piccole carenze. Se dovessi ritornare a Tropea, luogo splendido, ritornerò sicuramente in questo appartamento. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.
