The guesthouse is situated on the beautiful rice fields with easy access to the ancient city of Anuradhapura. There is a wonderful tower to view the surrounding countryside. The family were very friendly and helpful.

A delightful family-run business with a rare personal touch. The family couldn’t do enough to fulfil all our wishes, and were helpful in the extreme. The breakfasts were first class, and the evening meals were home cooked, extremely generous and inexpensive. The view from the balcony looked out over uninterrupted rice fields.
The room could have had a TV provided - there was provision on the wall.

The location is great. Not crowded outside, yet close to the city center. The staff is absolutely lovely and will help you with anything. There are some insects, but in Sri Lanka during the hot season that's what you can expect and it didn't bother us too much. We did the temple tour with their recommended tuktuk driver, would recommend 10/10. The bed was very comfortable and the room well air-conditioned, that's most important.
The bathroom wasn't very comfortable. The shower head was mounted to the wall, so I had to hold it while showering (maybe just our room). Also the massage after dark, was one big mosquito farm with the window open and the lights on. I had to kill multiple mosquito's during the massage, it was not relaxing at all. So I guess don't get a massage after dark. The massage itself was very good.
