About this house rental
My home is a hidden gem tucked away in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood in Southold, NY. With beautiful water views and just a few mins walk from the beach, it is a perfect summer vacation rental! The fire place and the North Fork's abundance of vineyards, farms and breweries make this a perfect winter escape as well. Just 2 hours outside of NYC!

We love sharing our home with families, couples and small groups. Our quiet neighborhood is NOT good for events or parties - we love and respect our neighbors!
The Details:
The home is equipped with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths. Master has a king bed, second guest room as a queen bed, and the third has 4 single beds. The love seat downstairs pulls out to add an additional twin bed downstairs. The house sleeps 8 upstairs and can accommodate another 2 downstairs between the couch and pullout. Great for families and couples!
Chefs Kitchen!
Centralized Heat and 2 zone AC!
Washer/Dryer- in basement, feel free to use if needed (there is detergent to the right hand side).
Linens and Towels: there are lots of beach and bath towels in the Master bathroom closet as well as under twin beds in the guest bedroom. Also in the guest bedroom with the twin beds, you will find an extra twin bed frame and mattress with sheets, pillows and blankets.
Windows: most have screens so feel free to open or keep closed, whatever you prefer.
Cushions : for deck furniture are in brown box on deck.
Wifi: network is available! Will send details once booked in a house guide!
TV: Chromecast, Netflix and Amazon Video available! Note - no Cable TV
Garbage: There are two cans in the garage. Please place garbage in the left hand can (the one with trash liner) at the end of weekend. Recycling goes in the right hand garbage can. PLEASE NOTE: you will be responsible for dropping garbage and recycling at the Southold Dump (Southhold Landfill-Solid Waste) at the end of your stay. Southold does not have trash pickup service.
Spot Cleaner: there’s a heavy duty spot cleaner under the sink in the kitchen in case of any spills
Bikes: Feel free to use! There are 7 in the garage.
Grill - Gas grill or Smoker downstairs in the garage!

North Fork is very special place. On the “favorite places” map I will send you is the location of the private association beach which is a small but beautiful spot and is a nice walk or bike ride from the house.

Best new local spot: Port in Greenport (owners also own a fantastic restaurant in Shelter Island called Salt)

This property is in a beautiful neighborhood close to beaches, wineries and shopping. The owner was extremely accommodating and answered all my questions promply. We look forward to coming back next year.

In a few words: we loved it and would stay again ASAP.
This property is a gem, literally everything you could want and need if you're a couple, a family, a group of friends or have a dog you'd like to bring to the North Fork. Locations is great, close to ALL things you may want to do but extremely PRIVATE.
Great rooms, plenty of bathrooms, fantastic kitchen, big driveway for parking, outdoor space for grilling/entertaining, a lovely well maintained FENCED yard for your kids or dog and surprisingly lovely views of bay and a picturesque pond from the deck and primary suite balcony (very romantic).
If the days are rainy you won't even mind because the living space is lovely for relaxing. For those who might be wanting to work from the house, the Internet connection is blessedly GOOD (we needed to do that for a few days during our long stay and were satisfied).
Our hosts were beyond accommodating and easy to communicate with. They have a list of nearby beaches and attractions that was VERY useful. House rules are reasonable, clearly explained and not overly fussy.
The neighborhood is QUIET, so if you're looking for some peace, this is the place. We loved taking walks with our pooch down the country lanes and hearing nothing but the water and the birds.
Can't say enough great things, if you have an opportunity to book it, do so with zero regrets. This is our #1 choice of place to stay while visiting the North Fork, esp with a pet!

My family of 4 stayed at Jesse’s home the last two weeks of August and had an amazing time. The house is large and comfortable with great decor. The kitchen was well stocked and the deck with grill was great for outdoor meals with water views. We enjoyed the private community beach (great for fishing!) and really appreciated Jesse’s efforts to get us a guest beach pass to the wonderful Southold beaches. Overall we had a magical time and hope to return next summer!

This is an area of Southold that was new to us, and we loved it. Jesse’s house is comfortable and well stocked with everything you need for a great beach vacation. It was so nice to be a ten minute walk to a little private beach, or a short bike ride to Cedar Beach. The house was immaculate and Jesse is a great host—very responsive and helpful. Perfect for a small family vacation with a fenced in yard.
