About this house rental
A modern mountain home awaits you in Winter Park! This mountain getaway, ideally located less than 5 miles from the lifts of Winter Park, will feel like your own modern mountain home the minute you walk in the door. You are sure to be impressed with the attention to detail and high end finishes this unit features.
The living area features an open floor plan so you can prepare a meal after a day in the adventuring and entertain guests in the living / dining room at the same time. Smart TV in living room so you can use your own streaming services. The living room couch is also a sleeper sofa. The lower level primary suite with king size bed shares bathroom with living area; however, it can be closed off to the living area if desired. Upstairs you’ll find a twin-over-queen bunk bed and attached full bathroom.
This townhouse has a detached over-sized one car garage to keep your vehicle out of the elements and the walk to the front door is just seconds. The lift shuttle picks up directly across the street less than a minute walk away.
Winter Park Resort is just 5.5 miles away so you can enjoy it with family. The FREE resort shuttle will drop you off right in the middle of the resort base village which includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other attractions including several summer activities. The swimming pool and gym are just 1 mile away at the Grand Park Rec Center with multiple swimming pools, a waterslide, full gym with indoor track, huge rock climbing wall, gymnasium, and children's playground. The Foundry is next door to the Rec Center with a bowling alley, movie theater and brick oven pizza bar. Safeway grocery store is 1.8 miles away at the Town of Fraser.

This is a great property - exactly as described. It is very close to the bus stop for easy access to the slopes. The place was clean and well maintained. The manager was easy to deal with and communication was timely.

We escaped to the mountains for a weekend of leaf peeping and it was great! Space for game-playing at the big kitchen table, bedrooms with room for all, great views out the west-facing windows.
Overall pretty clean but maybe missed a couple of key areas, and the kitchen is sparsely stocked with utensils to cook/eat.

We rented this property Labor Day weekend to visit our son who lives in Fraser. We absolutely loved the property! It was fresh, clean, and the layout was very spacious. There are several trails nearby and we enjoyed walking to Chickadee trail to catch amazing views of the sunset. I locked myself out once and the management team answered the phone and got me in right away. We will definitely rent here again the next time we visit Winter Park!

House is in a great location and convenient to skiing at Winter Park. It fit our family of 4 well and the home is nice and quiet. That said, if I was the owner of this home renting it out I would rethink my rental company. The home is very new, however has a ton of minor inconveniences that amount to neglect. I'm on vacation, not trying to help someone else's property management so I never complained or reached out regarding these issues.
If I were to comment on the neglect we noticed: the fridge drawer was broken, the main bathroom toilet paper holder was broken and kept falling off, shower soap dispenser didn't dispense so you had to take it off the wall to pour it out from the top, no measuring cup so had to use the blender to measure, ice/snow removal was non-existent which is fine if you provide a shovel - no shovel provided, roku on main living room was broken (was overheating and would power down randomly after about 10 seconds), 3 tv remotes had dead batteries
None of the above is a big deal taken individually however the totality of a bunch of small things just shows that the house is neglected and a good maintenance tech would address all of these things with an hour or two of attention per month (sans better snow removal).
All of that said, the property is in a great location and was well suited for my family of four, including two very young children. Bed / mattress in main bedroom was also extremely comfortable. House was clean, and had all the basics.
