Walking holiday

The property is in a fantastic location. About a 15 minute walk to the centre of the town. The apartment overlooked the meadows and had mountain views. The host was there to meet us and gave us lots of information on walks and hikes in the locality and even provided the loan of a book in English to help. It was well furnished and felt like a home from home except it has better views! This property exceeded our expectations. I would certainly recommend to others. If not driving and arriving by train, I would recommend a taxi as it is about 25 minutes from the station on foot and is very steep.

A perfect stay! Definitely a place to recommend!!!

It was a perfect stay. The landlord is very hospitable with always good recommendations where to go hiking or where to find a good restaurant. Rostalm is a very nice place to stay. Rooms are well equipped, clean and comfortable. We had a nice view over the mountains and a valley. The location is about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Berchtesgaden, very nice and quiet. We very much liked the quiet walk to Berchtesgaden centre in the evenings.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Super Ausblick vom Balkon. Gute Ausstattung. Es war alles da was man braucht. Ruhige Lage am Rand von Berchtesgaden.

An sich war die Ferienwohnung schön. Wenn man aber etwas Älter oder Einschränkungen hat ist es etwas beschwerlich die engen und steilen Treppen hinauf zu kommen. Den Vermieter haben wir kaum gesehen, was eigentlich etwas Schade war. Die Straßen zur Unterkunft waren schon sehr eng, da durfte einem nichts entgegen kommen!

Einen schönen "Juwel" gefunden

Das Appartement war sehr schön, über zwei Etagen. Man hatte vom Bett aus einen tollen Panoramablick auf das Roßfeld. Die Küche war klein aber hochwertig und man hatte alles was man brauchte, sogar eine kleine Spülmaschine. Sauberkeit wird auf der Rostalm sehr groß geschrieben, was mich persönlich sehr gefreut hat Die Alm erzählt viel aus Ihrer Vergangenheit. In jedem Winkel kann man erahnen, wie schön diese Alm damals zu Ihrer Gastronomiezeit war. Man bekommt sofort dieses tolle "Almgefühl". Die Gastgeber sind unfassbar freundlich, jederzeit erreichbar und geben auch gerne Tips zum Wandern oder Restaurants. Die Entfernung zur Stadt hatte mich anfangs was abgeschreckt, sollte es aber auf gar keinen Fall!! Ein wunderschöner Wanderweg führt direkt an der Alm vorbei runter in die Stadt, die in ca 15 Gehminuten zu erreichen ist. Die Aussicht auf dem Weg ist grandios!! Super fanden wir auch, das wir schon vor Ankunft unsere Digitale Gästekarte per Email erhalten hatten, die sich in Berchtesgaden wirklich lohnt!

Es gibt nichts was uns nicht gefallen hat.
