Marine Beach Hotel Pattaya - SHA Plus

Was quaint open air lobby with nice water feature. The rooms were comfortable with a nice shower. The onsite restaurant and bakery had some nice selections. The morning breakfast buffet included fresh made eggs. The pool was nice and fairly private. Loved the waterfall shower. Amazing. AC worked well in the room. Across the street from the beach.

The balcony on my suite was 1 person wide. Not big enough for a table or chairs.

Really lovely hotel good location

Rooms are clean (although a bit dated) and comfortable. The rooms don't smell old or moldy unlike most hotels in the vicinity. The beds were comfortable, sheets clean. Having read reviews that rooms on the pool side could be noisy I was hesitant at first but to my surprise the rooms have good noise isolation and the music wasn't too loud. That said, while checking in the check-in staff did inform me about the noise which I thought was a good attention to detail. Staff were kind and accommodating. Lots of parking space for a car.

A good renovation will reignite its old glory, the furniture, walls and wood work require some touch up. Croissants and sweet confectionaries were stale. The rest of the buffet was good. When I mentioned about the stale food to the staff their immediate reaction was 'don't write about it online'. Seriously? instead of correcting it you're more worried about reviews? This sums it up for me.
