Convenient location to Santa Barbara, beach and town centre. The bus stop, Inc.C6 to the airport close by. Patio, although small and not providing any privacy, was a nice escape from smelly rooms. Almost everything you need for a short stay was provided (hand wash, washing up liquid, dishwasher capsules, pots, pans, plates, towels, toilet paper, etc.).

Intense sewer smell from a bathroom spread across the whole apartment, impossible to get rid of even with all windows and patio doors wide open. This is my main problem with this property. Everything absorbed this stench (furniture, closets, duvets, and my stuff in the end). Luckily, it was April and not too warm yet. I can't even imagine dealing with this bad odour in the heat. Other issues impacted the quality of sleep. It's an old building, ground floor, so you hear neighbours above you returning to their flats, flashing their toilets, people walking on the street, parking cars by the window, slamming car doors, and wheels of suitcases on the pavement at night, even with all windows and shutters closed. The walls are so thin that we heard a next-door neighbour coughing at night.
