Sea Breeze Villas - Gili Air, Lombok

The host was amazing went above and beyond!! Lots of information about the island, trips and food recommendations on arrival which we really enjoyed. The location is in a quieter part of the island which was good at nighttime but it is still easy to walk/bike to the rest of the island.

The place is fantastic! The villas are located in a really quiet part of the island (the whole island is generally quiet, but the villa is located in an even more quiet area) and is really comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They also help with settling in, renting bicycles and horse taxis, and were super helpful with any queries we had. The breakfast is really good as well, with the delivery being made in a nice basket at the time that is convenient for you! The pool is also cosy and well kept, and the room is cleaned daily. They also provide beach towels during your stay. Although the rooms may look a bit small, they are more spacious than what was expected!

The downside is that the villas are all next to each other and the walls are very thin. Even just speaking at a low volume you can hear the other people in the other villas and vice versa. The shower water did not have a lot of hot water but since it was hot during our stay we did not mind it much.

Comfortable bed, private pool was exceptional, incredible staff, conveniently located, beautiful plants and flowers everywhere!

The staff were amazing and nothing was ever too much. The bed was really comfy and the pool was lovely.

Unfortunately we initially had neighbours. At no fault of their own, we could hear everything the couple next door was up to. We could hear every word spoken, cutlery hitting plates, and even heavy breathing. This unfortunately meant that we got no sleep the first night. They do provide earplugs however we only had 3 ear plugs across 2 people and they looked used. I sent Sea Breeze a message during the night and the next day we got offered a room swap to the villa on the other end, the villa next to it was vacant for the rest of our stay. We also got a free breakfast as an apology. We were very happy once we moved rooms but would not return to Sea Breeze again. If all 4 villas are booked, you will not get any sleep. Even on the last night once we were relocated and had an empty villa between us, we could hear the couple 2 villas down. Slightly muffled, but something to keep note of.
