Bundi's Villa

Echt wauw! Wat een prachtig verblijf. Een heel huis met zwembad voor jezelf. Alles was top. We konden eerder inchecken en alles werd uitgelegd. 2 Prachtige kamers met ruime badkamer en in het midden de woonkamer met keuken. Het drinken dat in de koelkast stond werd tegen supermarktprijzen berekend. Super! Het zwembad was echt heerlijk. Je was zo bij het strand en in de winkelstraat. Alles was eigenlijk top.

Het enige nadeel vond ik dat je doucht in een open badkamer. Als je over de rand kijkt van de badkamer is er verder geen muur oid. Dat vond ik niet heel prettig.

Au calme et à proximité de tout, la villa offre un cadre charmant et très confortable. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille. Un coup de cœur pour la villa et pour l’île! Merci pour cette belle parenthèse !

Het idyllische idee van een woning maar toch buiten leven is geweldig, je hebt geen gesloten woonkamer enkel gesloten slaapkamers echter was dit uiteindelijk wat de sfeer en beleving geweldig maakte. Het personeel is super, de jongens zijn constant bereikbaar en erg beleefd. Het zwembad was lekker warm en werd goed bijgehouden. Bedden waren fijn, kamers zijn schoon, volwaardige keuken met een redelijk gevulde koelkast al om al een top verblijf op gili air!

De 2 daybedden zijn aan vervanging toe, deze zijn instabiel geworden omdat ze op de grote witte kiezels staan, dit is meer een tip geen opmerking 😉

This is a stunning and unique building. The architecture is so interesting and rustic but it is a bit more run down now.

I hate to give a negative review, I do hope they use this information to improve the accommodation. Honestly, this place was quite disappointing. First, I'd say it's a bit run down and needs some work and attention to detail if they want to stay at that price point. Things are dirty and old and don't work well. Our bed which is rendered with cement and looks beautiful, was literally crumbling and we had to wipe chunks of crumbling concrete off our feet before bed. The sinks are old and stained, the kettle doesn't work. There is no coffee machine, not even a small cheap one. There's nowhere to put your luggage in the rooms and only two token clothes hangers. There was shampoo but no conditioner. There is no attention to detail like no fruit in the fruit bowls on arrival, nothing special or complimentary that we were provided at other places for less money. The only complimentary thing was insect spray which you will need! The pool area with the rocks gets incredibly hot. The weather wasn't even that hot when we were there, but it was scorching in that courtyard and the pool is hot by the end of the day and has no shade. They really need to plant some trees in the yard and we had to retreat to the beach all day to cool down. I notice in the photo they have either Photoshopped some of palm trees in or they have been removed since the photos were taken. There was building work going on behind and we were not pre-warned. As the bathroom is outside and open, the workers could watch us on the toilet. Other cheaper places seemed to have complimentary bicycles but we had to go find our own to rent. Even having a couple of bikes on site to rent would have been nice. It all feels a bit too much like a bad air bnb experience. I really hope they put some time and money into doing it up a little and paying more attention to detail if they want to charge that much.
