Casa di mare

Die Aussicht und Lage ist ein Traum und lässt alles andere vergessen! Wenn es Probleme gab, war in kurzer Zeit jemand vor Ort!

Die Terrasse ist sehr lieblos und kahl sowie der Sonnenschutz unzureichend. Es gibt eine Pergola, welche aber am Morgen und am Abend komplett in der heißen Sonne steht. Man muss also immer den äußerst kleinen Esstisch verschieben und mit der Sonne gehen. Im Haus gibt es keinen Tisch oder sonstigen Platz zum Essen. Die Küche ist leider ein Drama und nicht benutzbar. Kaum Geschirr oder Töpfe. Es fehlte einfach an allem. Der Geschirrspüler ist ein kleines Gerät welches man auf Campingplätzen verwendet. Noch dazu war er kaputt! Der Pool musste erst rückgespült werden, da er beim Schwimmen schäumte! Allerdings waren die Pools der anderen Häuser in Ordnung! Fazit: Besser nicht kochen, den der Ausblick auf der Terrasse ist perfekt und absolut eine Reise wert!

The location is great, not far from the airport and close to beaches, supermarkets, and restaurants. Great base to explore Kefalonia, but not a busy area, so perfect if looking for peace and quiet. Pool was cleaned regularly and had a great view out to sea.

As others have said there is minimal cooking equipment and the glassware is limited (really small glasses). But this didn't bother us at all as we ate out most nights.

- the house was very different from the website pictures, - dirty, smelly rooms due to open bathroom style, a lot of ants and mosquitos, smelly beds - lack of some basic things like salt, pepper, paper towels, a big knife for cutting a watermelon - no cleaning service - at the this price range you would expect at least for some atention for cleaning and basic things (like at least a bottle of other, capsules for coffe machine, cleaning service, etc), - even the house looks close to the beach on google maps, it is on top of cliff and you can't go directly to the beach (you have to walk 20 min or drive for 6 minutes). - very disappointed and almost shocked of what we found compared to our expectations for the price paid and the pictures we have seen on the website
