Bee's Knees Retreat

La struttura è meravigliosa, vicinissima al mare, molto pulita e dotata di ogni comfort. L’host è molto disponibile e gentile.

Nulla, tutto è stato più che perfetto.

Location is amazing. Beautiful beaches steps away from the villa and wonderful views of the mountains and sea. Make sure you go around to the "secret beach" it is stunning! We all felt incredibly close to nature, and it's the perfect place to relax and unwind. Easy to get to other areas of the island. Parking for 2 cars. Well equipped with everything you need to cook at home, but also a lovely taverna within 5 mins walk. The owner also provided us with breakfast items as we arrived on a late flight. Air conditioning in all rooms kept us cool in a heatwave and the pool area comfortable and regularly cleaned. Bbq area was fantastic, which we regularly used. There was a lovely cat who met us on arrival at the villa, we named her "Judith". She was closely followed by "stella". The kids with us fed, watered and played with them daily and were very sad to leave them (we hope the next guests will look after them too)! There was also a swallows nest in the verandah eaves that we were lucky enough to witness the birth of 5 babies. I spent many moments watching the parents feeding and protecting them. Mike the owner was on hand via text and was responsive to contact. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful home from home on Kefalonia. Recommendations: Take a trip over to Ithaca if you can, it's incredible. Vouti beach and a boat taxi to fteri - stunningly beautiful. If you are animal lovers go visit ARK in argostoli, take some food or a donation, they do amazing work looking after stray animals. Ladakolla in Argostoli for food - it gets busy, but the food is delicious. Limenia and lagadakki beaches for snorkeling.

No negatives, but a suggestion would be to have a larger dishwasher for 8 people.

large, spacious villa with room for our party of 7. Very Greek & good location to the capital which we visited often. Well equipped kitchen, lots of towels & a great pool area.

The beach was wonderful but not accessible for elderly & anyone with mobility issues! so unfortunately 2 of our party never went to the local beach. Even able person could get a nasty injury if they fell on the rocks. Building work daily behind property which didn’t make our daily yoga session very relaxing. such a shame. wasps meant unable to eat outside for last few nights but realise this is due to heat.
