Built in the thirties and recently renovated, this villa, situated in the heart of the Bassin d'Arcachon, is an excellent opportunity to spend relaxed holidays in a charming seaside resort.
Andernos les bains has been a favourite with families from Bordeaux who have traditionally spent the summer season lazying on the fine sand beaches, breathing the soothing pine scented air .
The modest but lively centre of the seaside resort boasts a large number of boutiques, shops and restaurants.
Food is excellent, oysters with a glass of dry white Entre deux mers wine, is an experience that must not be missed.
Swimming in this part of the Bassin d'Arcachon is particularly safe as there are no currents and the sea bottom slopes very gently. On sunny days the temperature of the water is particularly mild.
If one prefers swimming in the ocean, the nearest guarded beach 'Le Grand Crohot' is about 10 miles away.
The villa is located within walking distance from the seaside at a 5 minute walk from the nearest beach.
It has four main rooms : A kitchen which is not very large but well equipped and sufficient for cooking summer meals, a living room and two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with a double bed and a single bed.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a washbasin and a toilet.
The garden is comfortable and offers the possibility to grill meat or fish, and to eat outside.
Although it is not located in the very the centre of Andernos, a few shops providing essential services and goods -excellent bread and wines for example, are easily accessible on foot.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely furnished house. Many good restaurants are within a walking distance or you simply enjoy your wine at the terrace in the lovely garden.

Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und vollständig eingerichtet, die Betten sind sehr gut. Auch im Garten ist alles was man braucht vorhanden und man kann sich dort gut aufhalten.
