About this villa rental
Villa Sol Del Este is a spacious Menorca holiday villa set on three levels, with beautiful, rich lawns, ample parking and beautiful views over the quaint village of Es Castell to the sea.
The house itself offers comfortable accommodation both internally and externally. The house is furnished to a high standard in an intriguing mixture of stylish and antique. There is air conditioning/heating in all the bedrooms.
The Villa offers a very safe environment for younger children, the garden being entirely walled. Very good bedroom/ bathroom arrangements for large parties. The pool, within shady surrounds, is an excellent focal point for both children and adults.
The front entrance to Villa Sol Del Este opens into a hallway with a staircase to the upper levels. On the ground floor of Villa Sol Del Este are two twin bedrooms sharing a bathroom and a double bedroom with en suite bathroom. At the end of the hall a door leads out to the pool terrace and gardens. On the first floor this Menorcan villa has a lounge/dining room with patio doors allowing plenty of natural light, opening onto a covered terrace. From here steps lead down to the private pool. Adjacent to the living room is a separate kitchen, which is beautifully tiled.
On this same floor is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom, a twin bedroom, a single bedroom and a shared bathroom. Further stairs lead to the upper level of this Es Castell holiday villa where there is a second lounge with patio doors to the roof terrace.
Outside Villa Sol Del Este, the pool terraces are walled to give a good deal of privacy. Slightly raised from the pool area itself, there is an attractive stone barbecue and seating area, great for alfresco dining. The villa also enjoys ample, rich lawns with scattered flowers and palm trees.

Beautiful villa in a fabulous location. Walking distance of Calas Fons(Es Castell) the pretty harbour with numerous restaurants and bars. The Lemon bar is a must for pre- dinner drinks.The villa is very well equipped and we had a lovely family holiday with a great barbecue held in the villa. Great upper terrace on which to dine and take in the views of the harbour entrance.The host Jorge couldn’t have been more helpful. He answered every question I had promptly and efficiently. I hope very much to return soon.

We were a group of 5, being one couple and three friends. We particularly wanted a property with 4 bathrooms and minimum 4 bedrooms in a location where we could easily walk to local restaurants and this one fit the bill.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property itself is spacious, very well equipped with towels, kitchen equipment etc. Ideally situated with one local cafe/restaurant less than 5 minute walk and all the restaurants at Calesfonts no more than 15 minute walk or a short taxi ride (about 7 euros).Jorge is an excellent host - he checked in with us regularly to ensure everything was ok and made lots of helpful suggestions about what to do, where to visit and restaurant recommendations. As we were arriving late on the first day he even called the local restaurant to ensure they would be open for us to eat after we arrived.Highly recommended and we would definitely stay here again.

It was ten years since we visited Menorca and indeed the same villa. The villa had been refurbished but still as lovely as we remembered. Spacious , clean and comfortable with spectacular views. Natalia , the owner, left a welcome card and some provisions for us to use such as tomatos and a watermelon. It was also nice to have hand wash ,hand cream and a citronella body spray in each bathroom. The pool , although on the small side was adequate for our needs . Within walking distance of supermarkets , bars and restaurants. The area itself is very peaceful and quiet during the day. The only negative was that a change of towels and bath mat would have been nice mid week. I understand that cleaners would have come in had we paid extra but this was not needed as we kept the villa clean and disposed of rubbish ourselves.
All in all a fantastic holiday. Thank you very much Natalia. Hope to visit again.xx
