About this apartment rental
Casa Martin, located in Pragelato in the heart of the Olympic mountains, has two very sunny apartments with a view of the trampolines for jumping, used for the 2006 Winter Olympics.
The apartments are furnished in traditional mountain style with wooden furnishings, terracotta floors and attic with exposed beams.
Located just 5 minutes by car, or, free shuttle to the departure of the cable car that is part of the ski area of the "Via Lattea / Sestriere" (400 km of beautiful slopes).
In addition to alpine skiing, there are snowshoe trails, the Olympic cross-country track, beautiful walks along the river, wellness centers and golf courses.
In summer you can take simple walks or trekking, mountain biking, horseback riding; for those who love motors there are several paths for the Trial. For off-road vehicles and enduro motorbikes on the Assietta hill, the highest driveway in Europe (50km).
For those who want to deepen the history of Pragelato, the Museum of Costume and the Museum of the Escartons are worth seeing; don't miss a visit to the Fort of Finestrelle, our great Piedmontese wall; also Usseaux with its narrow streets and many beautiful murals.
For those who love nightlife, you can choose an evening at the disco in Sestriere or a snowmobile trip with dinner in a refuge.
Parking is in the courtyard.
The property is located 11 km from Sestriere, 45 km from Pinerolo, 35 km from Briançon and 100 km from Turin airport.

The apartment consists of an entrance hall, living room with double bed, bathroom with window, dining area with fully equipped kitchenette with all dishes, oven
microwave, flat screen TV, satellite dish, free WiFi, iron and washing machine; it is delivered complete with bed linen, towels and kitchen towels included in the price. It has an independent entrance on the mezzanine floor.
ATTIC:
Warm and sunny attic apartment with large balcony with mountain view.
Gracious and welcoming, typical and well-kept furnishings, it consists of 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with single beds; in the living room double sofa bed.
It can host up to 6 people; ideal for families, couples, groups of friends who love the mountains, pure air, skiing and sports.
The kitchenette is equipped with all dishes, microwave oven, electric kettle, hairdryer, 40-inch flat-screen TV, satellite dish, free WiFi; it is delivered complete with bed linen and towels included in the price.

The owner Maria, was waiting to meet us at the property with keys and guide around. She lives below so contactable if we had any concerns. Only an hour and a half roughly to drive from Turin airport and about 10 mins from Sestriere where we skied from. The property was very clean and tidy. It was adaquet for our stay, but would say it suited 5 rather than 7 as only one bathroom. The kitchen was equipped with every thing we needed, plenty of pots and pans etc to cook in the evenings. Very cosy, sometimes too hot! Loads of towels and crisp bedding.
Would defiantly say a car was needed to stay at the property , would recommend and stay again.

Maria and Marco were wonderful, we had a fabulous four weeks, they arranged for almost a meter of snow three days into our stay and even organised the vet to visit our dog ready for our departure back to the UK. Thank you xox
